There was one time, and only one time, that Remus and Tonks could remember Teddy coming home and talking about a girl. And they were both pretty sure that he had quite a bit to drink at a concert he went to. But they never did feel the need to ask anything more about it, they figured if the time was right, the time would come.
Teddy Lupin got butterflies around only one girl and almost everyone was waiting for the day that the two of them stopped staring at each other and finally grew a pair. Even McGonagall had her own hand in the game of love, making sure that as they prepared for their seventh year, they would be head boy and girl.
And it seemed like then that Teddy began to talk about the girl more around his parents. But it wasn't until the holidays that next year that they figured out who she was, when Teddy introduced them to his girlfriend.
