When they fully shut I collapsed on to my knees.

And the tears didn't stop.

"God Hazel pull yourself together." I was in the bathroom trying to clean my tears face and some running mascara that Natasha showed me how to put on.

I don't care much for makeup but this was a occasion for it.

The door opened and Sharon walked through. "You okay?"

"I'm splendid." I put the tissue in the bin.

"Hazel we all lost her." She patted my shoulder. "It was her time."

"Time sucks."

"So, what's been happening since Washington?"

"Not much, saved a country but there was many casualties, lost a friend and gain powers I didn't even want."

"Wow...do you have someone to talk to?"

"Uh look Sharon, your cool but I don't need a therapist. I'm not a solider."

"But you fought many wars...even at a young age."

"Did...Peggy ever speak about me?"

"All the time, you meant a great deal to her." She handed me a small box. "Peggy wanted this to be given to you."

I opened the box, it had a small compass with a picture of dad. He was really skinny. Probably before the serum and a picture of a little me, missing my two front teeth and I held my little teddy bear.

"Thank you."

She gave me a soft smile. "Your Dad is waiting for you, he asked me to check on you and bring you out."

I nodded. "Well goodbye."

I walked out of the bathroom and through the side doors, the church was empty now. Just Dad.

I open the compass I was given and put it in dad's hand.

"Those teeth took a decade to come in." I said whist he opened it.

"I'm proud of you." He handed it back to me and kissed my head.

"Dude I'm proud of you too."

We stood in silence for a bit. I know when we get back it's going to be hell with this stupid accords.

Is peace hard to ask for?

"When I came out of the ice, I thought everyone I had known was gone. Then I found out that she was alive. I was just lucky to have her."

"Hm?" I looked up, Nat was walking up, I guess he was talking to her.

"She had you back, too."

"Nat...who else signed it?" I leaned against one of the rows of seats.

"Tony. Rhodey. Vision."

I expected those three.

"Clint?" Dad questioned.

"Says he's retired." She smiled slightly.

As he deserves.

"TBD... I'm off to Vienna for the signing of the Accords. There's plenty of room on the jet."

Dad bowed his head and sighed.

"Just because it's the path of least resistance doesn't mean it's the wrong path. Staying together is more important than how we stay together."

It's like she's trying to convince herself.

"What are we giving up to do it?"

Nat didn't have an answer.

"I'm sorry, Nat. I can't sign it."

"I know."

"Then what are you doing here?"

"I didn't want you two to be alone." She pulled me and Dad in for a hug.

After she pulled away Dad spoke up. "Hazel could you go with Nat? I have something to take care of."

"Of course." I agreed.

"Come on." Nat wrapped her around around my shoulders and walked me out. "Are you going to sign it?"

"I'm supposed to?"

She nodded.

"Nat, I don't know." I groaned. "It's so messy, I don't want to agree with it but something has to happen."

"Don't worry about it...Just- just use your kid brain."

"Excuse me?"

"You're a smart kid...you're innocent, have pure intentions unlike some of us."

"Huh, kid brain."

Someone save the poor cinnamon roll child.
