I was curled up comfortably in my nest. Firepelt was being kept hostage. Surprisingly, I was in much better shape now. I was woken from my sleep by the sounds of pawsteps heavy behind the bramble wall of the warriors den. My heart lurched when I heard whispers, "Where are we entering again?" A high pitched, feminine voice said. "We are going for the leaders den first dummy!" a deep masculine voice said. I leapt to my paws, "Attack!!!" I yowled. Tired and frightened meowes sounded throughout the camp. Warriors flooded out of the den. I saw Pinestar emerge from his den high up in the Ancient Oak Tree. His grey fur ruffled from sleep his green eyes alarmed. Ravenstar padded calmly forward, half of his clan behind him, fur was fluffed up, angry glares, and growls covered the clearing. Pinestar flicked his tail at me. "Get into your formations." I meowed queitly. Soon we were in long lines, I was beside Pinestar. "Ravenstar..." Pinestar growled, his deep voice menecing and rich with rage. "What have you come for?" His sharp claws glinted in the moonlight as he dug them into the earth. "We are here to take what is ours." He meowed simply.
"And what exactly is, 'yours'?" Pinestar scoffed. "The land around your camp." Ravenstar meowed smoothly. Pinestar fluffed up to swice his size, his green eyes were wide with anger. "You think you can just walts in here and take our land without a fight!?" he yowled. Ravenstar stared calmly at the furious tom, his violet gaze flicking back and forth between Pinestar and Shatterredsoul. "Well that's what we are asking, but obviously that's not what you want." He growled, lifting his paw and examineing his long sharp claws. "So we what fight then?" The black Tom growled, repositioning into a battle stance; his violet eyes glimmering with excitement. Pinestar didn't even bother to respond, "Attack!!!" He yowled outstretching his claws and propelling himself forward with strong hind legs. The clearing came to life with wrestling, yowling, and fighting cats. I glanced around for Hawkstorm, me and him trained to fight in a pair together, I finally spotted him, but as soon as I did I felt sharp thorn-like claws sink into my back. I yowled in pain and attempted to shake the cat off. He flew off to one side, the tom arose to his large paws... His fur, stained with blood, his teeth yellow and stained with blood, his eyes blood red, and covered in scars. I shivered, a sheer look of terror crossed my face. Shatteredsoul smiled, my mind went blank...
what do I do?!
He lunged at me knocking me off my paws. He pinned me on my back, he smiled once more, his eyes crazed. "How about we finish that fight we had a few moons ago." he growled, sinking his claws into my shoulders. My mind flew back to when we were throwing each other around on the cold hard ground of Large Stones. The anger and the feeling of rage filled me from the bottom of my paws to very peak of my ear-tips. I snarled, "You will never win Shatteredsoul!"
"Watch me." me growled smoothly in the rage of battle, he seemed at his happy place.
That flea-bitten tom will pay for what he did.
He stared down at me, slowly digging his claws deeper, and deeper into my shoulders. As soon as he thought his battle was going to be easily won, I sprang to my paws, shoving him off of me. He hit the ground and attempted to sprang to his paws but I was too quick. I was on him digging my claws into his shoulders. I finally scented the fear-scent propelling off of him. He managed to squirm free and dash away, out of my sight.
Well he didn't put up much of a fight.
