Heather
Paper thin
Skin and bones
Light as a feather
Heather
Doesn’t eat
Doesn’t sleep
What a feat
Heather
Rock for a heart
Wont show emotions
Skin tough as leather
Heather
Will lie
Wont cry
Going to die

Head in a toilet
Insert fingers
Into mouth
Heather’s made a mistake
She ate
Promise me one thing
“Never again”
Is said
But then done again
And again
Cuts on her fingers
Sore throat
Bulimia’s toll
All because she ate
A mistake
Now she can’t stop
It’s begun
Never stop
“Must consume food”
Till doom
Heather’s turned from
Silent killer
Beautiful anorexia
Into a monster beast
Bulimic feast
Loud noises, clamored thoughts
Never stop
Never stop
Finally at her largest
Death charges

What set off?
Poor darling Heather
Use to weigh
The same as a feather
Not anymore
Can’t live anymore
Swallows a bottle of pills
Proving that
Beauty kills
And so does medicine
Heather has with bulimia
Struggled for years
Giving up, giving in
Her biggest fears
And yet she does just that
Lights flash around Heather’s face
Ambulance noises, someone crying
