Chapter 2 Escaping To The Mexican Villa

Heather's POV: it had been a few days since Jerry had beaten me I decided that I had enough of him and that I was leaving but not before taking that German Shepherd dog that I love so much I packed whatever I had with me and hid my belongings outside in the brush then that night when all Jerry's guys were asleep alongside Jerry we escaped and ran towards the Mexican border never looking back when we arrived there wasn't much my dog who I hadn't even named yet was by my side the entire time we walked around the village everybody was talking about someone who they kept calling Chivato and his gang of course I had no idea who they were talking about we walked around for awhile then my dog wandered off being a typical dog I was walking around it seemed like there was a party going on but I didn't care I wasn't in the mood for anybody's bullshit after I walked awhile I decided to head towards a bar and that's when I saw them Billy The Kid and his gang there was five of them I walked over towards them curious

Hi I said to all of them

Billy who I guessed was the leader of the gang was the first one to say hi back I blushed a little bit soon I got to know who they were there was Billy, Doc,Arkansas Dave,Hendry William French and a young boy named Tom O'Fallord he was only fourteen years old when I met him he was really nice and sweet I have to admit that he might've had a crush on me from the start we talk for awhile trying to get to know each other then Doc spoke up

Billy have you seen Chavez anywhere by any chance? Doc asked

I can't say I have "why? Billy replied

Oh I was just wondering he's usually with us but for some reason he's not and I'm just a worried that's all Doc answered looking around for his friend

Doc you worry too much Chavez is probably tending to the horses or something I'm sure he'll be along shortly just sit down and try and relax Billy said

Yeah you're right Doc replied sitting down and taking a sip of a whiskey drink that Billy ordered for him

Time skipped Chavez's POV: I walked around trying to clear my mind of everything as I was walking I heard a soft whining sound it was coming from an alleyway I walked down towards the sound and made a terrible discovery there was a dog lying on the ground bleeding from what appeared to have been a stab wound in the dog's side as I approached the dog sensed my presence and growled softly at me I knelt down trying to show it that I meant no harm towards it I knew that the dog was male by it's size once I kneeled down he stared at me still growling softly towards me I slowly reached out to him he nipped my hand I winced at the feel of pain but I wasn't going to give up

Easy now boy easy it's okay I'm not going to hurt you just take it easy okay I'm just trying to help you I said in a soothing tone of voice

I held my hand out in front of the dog he sniffed at my hand then he finally realized that he could feel safe around me by licking my hand I smiled softly petting him he finally learned to trust me I gently picked him up and I took him to a safe place I tended to his stabbing injury then got him some food and water as well as a blanket to keep him warm after I made sure he was going to be okay I went to go meet Chivato and the rest of the gang and that's how I met her and believe me when I tell she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen when I walked in Doc hugged me as if he hadn't seen me in a long time

Oh there you are I thought you were never going to show up "what took you so long? he asked
