abhi's mother approached them,she kissed tanu's forehead and said"welcome to this new life as the bahu of this house".abhi cringed hearing his mother's word.he felt to runaway from there,and he did.
abhi got down from the stage and moved towards the door.everyone looked at him.his father stopped him and asked him where is he going,to which he replied that he have some work and went from there.the people there were astonished with abhi's act.
abhi was driving his car aimlessly.he didn't know where he was going,his eyes were shedding tears,his mind was clouded with pragya's thoughts,his heart was longing for pragya. he parked his car near a building.
abhi ranged the bell of a flat.he heard a voice saying "coming" and door opened.
PURAB: hey abhi!,come inside.
abhi just noded his head,and moved inside and sat on the sofa.purab felt unusual,he wasn't like everyday and his clothes....
PURAB: where are you coming from? *purab sat near abhi*
abhi didn't answered.purab noticed him.he was looking sad,his clothes were saying that he was coming from a wedding ceremony.he noticed fresh tear marks on his cheeks,some tears were about to fall down from his eyes. he was confused with the happenings,and abhi was looking sad so thought to cheer him up by cracking a joke.
PURAB: abhi you know you are looking like a devdas.so tell whom did pragya got married to.
words of purab shocked him.he felt ground slipping away from his feet.purab was laughing at his reaction.abhi bent his head and spoke
ABHI: its me not, pragya.
PURAB: stop joking,i said that so that you speak.see my trick worked.don't make my game as your game. *saying this moved towards dining table and took a glass from table and filled it with water*
ABHI: no purab i am not joking.i am engaed. *his voice broke at the end*
PURAB: stop it abhi! pragya is coming from new york today and she didn't reached till now. do you think i am a fool.
ABHI: i am not engaged to tanu *his voice was a little loud* not to pragya *with saying that abhi broke down into tears*
purab wasn't able to register this in mind.purab holded abhi's shoulders and made him look at him
PURAB: what are you saying abhi.you are joking right.
abhi noded his head as no.
ABHI: no,i am not.
purab was became furious. purab wasn't able to handle this and he slapped abhi. abhi was shocked to see his reaction. abhi kept his right hand on his cheek.seeing the engagement ring in abhi's right hand made purab angry.
PURAB: how dare you betray pragya, abhi? and after betraying her,you had the guts to come here and show me your.how dare you abhi? i didn't expected this from you.
