Am I a drama queen?
Maybe
but depression is like that
It raises mountain ranges from molehills,
impenetrable fortress walls from rejections,
and deep seas from puddles
It is the black mold of the psyche,
growing in the damp, dark places where optimism dies,
and it turns perfectly rational people
into suicidal drama queens
