The things we've forgotten
and the things we wish we could forget
are all wrapped up in a tidy package
labeled "30 Years"
We were all Sundevils once
We fought the good fight
and survived high school
When we got out, we were glad
to wash our hands of the place
Now, we wish we could go back
and relive or redo
those days in the sun
when all we worried about
was homework, dates, and parties
because the real world sucks
I'd gladly trade bills for homework
work for parties,
and marriage for indiscriminate dates
Wouldn't you?
