It had been a painful day for Taehyung.
He had woken up to an empty bed, the usual presence of his boyfriend next to him unable to be detected due to him having to go to work earlier than usual. So, this left Taehyung with no choice but to get ready all alone and hail a cab.
But that was not the only shit thing that had happened that day.
He had injured himself on some steps and had to endure the pain during work, where he played dollhouse with this dude who seemed to like to tease or be a bitch to him, irritating him further. Taehyung definitely did not appreciate this dude's actions and way of dealing things. He was too bitchy.
So here he was, sitting in a cafe that was owned by his friend, sipping coffee as he thought of how shit his day had been.
It was like a movie.
But something soon broke his train of thought when he heard a sudden ping! come from his phone as it flashed.
Quickly, he picked it up; noticing who it was from. It was none other than his lovely friend, Park Bogum. This friend of his had been overseas studying. And for him to be back in Korea? That was just so exciting for Taehyung. After all, it was one of his best friends.
Giggles slipped out of his mouth as he texted him back, "can't believe he's actually back." He mumbled to himself with a giddy smile.
"Now, why are you giggling to yourself in the corner when you know damn well that you have had a shit day?" The café owner, Seokjin came along with a polite smile.
"Oh! Hyung!" Taehyung laughed while Seokjin flashed a grin, sitting across Taehyung while settling down his coffee as he stared at the boy who seemed to be on cloud nine.
"It's nothing, to be honest. The true question is, how'd you know I had a shit day?" Taehyung asked curiously.
He waited for the café owner's answer to his curious question while the man responded reasonably. "Well, you see, you tend to let the shit scenes replay in your mind as if it's a movie. It shows on your face."
Taehyung was actually quite shocked that Seokjin even knew all that of him. Good observation, perhaps?
"Though," Seokjin took a sip from his coffee, staring at the boy who continued to repeatedly check his phone for the past five minutes before putting it down to take a sip from his drink. "What's got you so happy? Did Jungkook allow you to top this time?"
This had Taehyung choking on his drink while shooting an icy glare at Seokjin who just laughed at the boy, teasing him slightly.
"You're adorable, Tae. Though, what's really gotten you all happy-go-lucky today?" Seokjin said softly.
