She hmms a song ( from my movie, I realise later ), and then picks up the two cups in her hand and turns and screams, as she looks at me, leaning behind the wall looking at her.

"Calm down, calm down, Ayesha, "

"Don't freak me out like that, Sahil Malhotra," she says in a very high pitched voice.

I laughed at her expression and even imitated her.
"Don't freak me out like that, Sahil Malhotra, "

"Okay, okay Sorry, Ayesha," I say after minutes of laughing. Ayesha continues to look at me with anger. I walk towards her to take a cup from her and then gestured her to the dining room. She followed and took a seat opposite to me.

She sat down and then brushed her hair with her hand and then with a finger she twirled the end of her hair looking at something, her eyes that are now brown, her pink lips formed a little smile.

She looked so cute.

She then takes her cup in her hand; the other still curling her hair and then took a sip. She looks at me all of a sudden and I m like

Shit. Shit shit.
How horrible would I have looked starting at her lips like that?

I immediately look away and reach for the cup, and gulp it down, which was probably a mistake cause; it was burning hot. I spit it down on my hand, and all my mind is thinking is

Shitting Shit, Sahil Malhotra. I knew you were a complete idiot.

Ayesha laughed. She took a napkin that was kept nearby and then leaned towards me, to wipe my hands and mouth. I wasn't expecting this at all. I mean, this sudden gesture. I kept looking at her eyes that were now shining of happiness and joy, as she wiped off a coffee from my mouth. When she leaned hack, I almost felt very disappointed.

"I didn't prepare the coffee so bad, " she said, laughing "Did I? "

"No" I stuttered., my face red with embarrassment.

Why the hell am I stuttering?

"No. " I said, with a 10% increase in my confidence. "The coffee was boiling."

I inhaled the coffee and then took a sip.

"Perfect," I said her. "Damn good."

She nodded thanks.

She looked at me, and I looked back at her - eye to eye. Both our eyes conveying some emotion I quite can't understand. We stared at each other and then she cleared her throat looking away. She stood up and took her cup in her hand along with mine and walked away from the dining room.

Ayesha stood near the sink, washing her hands, facing backwards. She dried her hands with the towel. I went towards her and gave her a back hug, encircling my arms around her waist, and placed my chin on her neck.

"Thank you, Ayesha." I breathe in her ear.

"I feel much better. You don't know how much it means to me, coming here to Mumbai only to see me. I was such a stupid not to answer your calls and messages. I began to doubt myself and isolated myself, started to hate everyone. I was such an idiot, bitch, dork, d---"

She wriggled out of my tight grip on her waist and turned to face me. She interlocked our fingers and squeezed them tighter. She gave a smile before speaking :

"Are you going to use all the bad words today itself??"

I looked at her. She raised her eyebrows, still smiling.
