Creepypasta Cliches

In everyone's OC, we all feel the need to make them beautiful, we want to be them. Powerful, pretty, but the truth is, everyone's sick of them. I want something that would make me wet my pants if I ever saw them in real life, not something that would make me think 'That's pathetic'.

The most annoying thing you could do is to make them wear/be these things:

1. Cat ears (A half cat isn't going to scare anyone)

2. A cut out smile (Jeff the Killer already used this)

3. Big boobs (They will cause lower back and neck pains and will get in the way while running)

4. Wearing something that makes them look like a stripper/prostitute (Especially if they're under-age

5. A hoodie (Overused)

6. Neon coloured clothes (Horrible for stealth)

7. A tail (Wouldn't it get in the way in a chase?)

8. High heels (You cannot run in heels, unless you're Wonder Woman)

9. A gender bent version of an already-existing character, e.g: Bella Drowned, Laughing Jasmine.

10. A Proxy (Do you really think Slenderman would let just anyone be a proxy?)

These are all things I'm sick of seeing. Creepypasta was meant to scare people, not turn them on!

These next pictures will be Cenobites from the movie franchise Hellraiser, and will hopefully show you that killers don't always have to be pretty or handsome to be a killer.

Warning: If you are eating I would advise to skip this part as it will surely put you off your appetite.

Now aren't they just disgusting? With their grotesque bodies and mutilated faces, I wouldn't want to be within 5 feet of any of the disgusting creatures. While, yes, they are not creepypastas, they are instead monsters from a horror franchise, you have to remember something; Creepypasta stems from horror. From the monsters under the bed, to the slashers that terrorised our childhood, they're all connected.

Now, if you switched, say, Jeff the Killer with an OC version of him, it would end up looking like this:

They turned a mutilated, knife swinging monster who can kill you in your sleep to this, someone who looks like a grown woman dressing up for Halloween but forgot that the holiday is centred around being scary rather than looking like a stripper on her night off. You might be wondering 'What does this have to do with creepypasta?' Well I have the answer right here. Make sure to listen closely.

STOP MAKING THEIR OUTFITS AND FEATURES SOMETHING RESEMBLING A SLUT WHO CAN'T DECIDE WHETHER TO LOOK SCARY OR CUTE, EVENTUALLY DECIDING TO MAKE THEIR OUTFIT A EYE-RAPING CACOPHONY HYBRID OF BOTH!!! Sorry for yelling, but you get my point. It's unrealistic, unpractical, ugly and makes the creator look like an absolute twat for thinking that it would work.

I know that creepypasta is fictional, but making it realistic just makes it all the more scary. Imagining that that the killer is real and could slip into your house silently with their converses, walk up the stairs without tripping on a dress or heels, open the door knob without losing grip from gloves, and finally leaping at you,an unsuspecting victim peacefully sleeping without getting their ugly hair extensions in the way.

Conclusion:

Don'ts:

Hair extensions, they will get in the way

High heels, horrible for running

Neon colours, killers are meant to be stealthy

Make them a neko, it looks stupid

Long dresses, they will trip

Hoodies, they are practical but we've all seen them waaaayy too much

Genderbent versions of canon characters, they are unoriginal and annoying

Do's:

Sneakers or anything other than heels

Dark colours, great for camouflage

Making them someone you actually would be scared of

Reasonable weapon that makes sense that they would have, no one has a sword handy
