I'm Not Cold; Just Scared

Daehwi rolled his eyes. "Look, I am totally frustrated right now and I have absolutely no idea of what I'm gonna do, ok? I really need your help now, Somi"

Somi thought for a while. "And I don't know what to say, I haven't even been in a relationship before, what am I gonna say that might help you?" she asked him.

He sighed. Nope, asking for Somi's help turned out to be a bad idea too. Why did he think she would be any help either? "Ok, then, I'm hanging up" He said.

"No, no, no, no, wait! C'mon Daehwi, you know me right? In a normal situation, I would say Go for it, because you and Jinyoung look really adorable together. But you are my best friend, I supported your first relationship and I would definitely support this one too. I just want you to be happy, and whatever decision you take, I don't want you to regret it."

"If you're sure you don't like him, then go ahead, reject him. But I've seen you when you're with him; you look so happy. Just like how you used to look happy when you were with Donghyun oppa. Think it through, Daehwi." She said.

A long silence followed this little speech of hers before Daehwi sighed heavily. "You're kinda right though, but I'm so confused I have absolutely no idea what my feelings are and Somi... You've known me the longest, you know what happened last time."

Somi bit her lip. "Does anyone else at your place know about this?" She asked.

"No." he replied. "I told you first."

"Aww, you told me first? I'm flattered." She giggled.

"Shut up."

"Yah, ok fine, getting serious again, do you want to come over? We can talk through it freely." She offered. 

Daehwi thought about it for awhile. "Okay then, I'll come over" he replied before hanging up.

"Where are you going hwi?"  Jisung asked him as he went downstairs.

"Just going to Somi's place." He said, before going out. He tried to walk as fast as he could past Jinyoung's house, hoping the older wouldn't notice him. Luckily he made it past the latter's house and walked to Somi's house before knocking on her door.

Her mother opened the door. "Ah hello Daehwi, Somi told me to expect you! Come in, she's in her room."

Daehwi smiled. "Thank you Aunty" he said, before rushing upstairs and knocking on her door.

"It's me, Daehwi" He called.

"I know it's you idiot, now come in" she said. "Pft, some welcome." He huffed, entering her room and flopping down on her bed.

"Okay David Lee, what are you feeling now?" She asked him in English.

"Oh I don't know Ennik Douma" He replied back in English calling her by her English name which he knew pissed her off.

"Ok shut up boy, now do you want help or not?" She asked.

He groaned. "I hate having to admit this to you out of all people but yes, I do want help." He said.

"Ok so jokes aside, what are you feeling now?" She asked, propping herself up on one elbow.

"Um... I don't know, shocked I guess? I mean, I never knew he liked me obviously I would be shocked"

Somi rolled her eyes sassily. "You didn't know that he liked you because you my child, are completely stupid. It was THAT obvious!" She said.

"What the hell, how was it 'that obvious'?" He asked, emphasizing her words with quotation marks.
