It has been haunting me from the very beginning. It flashes across my mind. It feels like its holding me back so I can figure it out. it gives me goosebumps when I remind it.
*1 WEEK BEFORE*
Body full of sweat, gasping for air. I woke up. I couldn't believe what just my mind has shown. I saw someone who was trying to get back to humans. why? was the first question that popped up in my mind. It felt like I was somehow related to him. After that horrible nightmare, I couldn't think straight.I brushed off that thought and headed to the bathroom. I cleaned up myself and then went downstairs. I felt somewhat relaxed.
''Raphael!!!'' I heard my mom call out my name. I replied'' Yes mom?''
''will you please do me a favor by shopping groceries for me? here is the list. thankyou!''
that's my typical mom. She does as she if she is requesting me but in reality she orders me.I took the list and headed to the nearest store. I was alone on the road. There were no cars, dogs or humans. HUMANS! my mind went back to the nightmare I had. I was constantly thinking about it just when i saw a shining thing on the road. It was eye catchy. I went near it and it was a chip. it was not a normal chip, It was looking complicated. I examined it more and found a name carved on it. KATE. Someone must have dropped this I thought and kept it in my pocket. when I looked up on the road...I was numb. There were many people walking on the road. err..... how can be that possible? shit my mind is going crazy. Without further thoughts I ran to the store.
soon I got home and started studying for exams. I was in class 9th and was a bright student. when I got up from studying the chip fell down from my pocket. I picked it up and put it on the table. my eyes became heavy due to studying so laid on bed and soon I was drifted off to sleep.
oh no.
I woke up gasping for air. The only thing I could think of was that girl who was seeking help and asked me to see the info in the chip. wait me? is it really a nightmare or... I was confused. this was the second time when I got a weird glimpse like this. it wouldn't hurt anybody if I check that chip, i thought.
Quickly I went to the nearest cyber cafe and inserted the chip to one of the computers.
what I saw popped my eyes out. is it..no it can never be. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?
why would someone want help from me?
