He opens the door of your cell and you follow him down the hall towards a large room with the brain washing machine in it. It didn't have a name so you decided to call it the brain washing machine, it wasn't exactly an accurate name but it worked.
"The mission you are going on is going to be your biggest yet" he chuckles clearly happy about it, "it will be up against those menacing Avengers" he says his smile wide and excited as a small smirk of your own grew on your face, you had been waiting for this mission for a long time. "They will not be expecting this, expecting you" his says as you enter the room.
"Ready to destroy them?" He asks as he lowers the head piece to the machine onto your head, you don't answer his question as he already knows the answer. "Tear them apart Caroline, watch them die oh so brutal deaths" he chuckles.
(Bucky Barnes POV, NYC)
I was walking through the city getting away from the Avengers, god there annoying always up my back about something.
There where a few stalls set up so I walked over to them, I saw one stall selling plums so I walked over to it an bought a few, I had a soft spot for plums, don't judge, there good.
I then walked over to the newspaper stand, eager to see what was happening today, I skimmed through the articles before I came across something that had caught my eye "mysterious girl causing havoc on New York City" that wasn't what caught my eye it was the picture that did. The picture consisted of a girl dressed in completely black with two Hydra logos, one on each shoulder, she was holding a gun and pointing it toward a random man.
It's not her, it can't be her I told myself as I decided not to agree that it was her. Y/n, god what a girl, I liked to pretend I hated her, after what she did to me, but I couldn't, we used to treat each other like siblings, but I changed and Hydra no longer had control of my brain, but they had control of hers, and there was no way of stopping that.
Yeah sure sometimes I wish I could go back to the Hydra base and save her, get her out of there but like I said, she's different, I've changed and she wouldn't like the better person I've become plus, she betrayed me, she lost all my trust.
My teeth grit as I remember her and I quickly turn around feeling eyes on me, but I realise that there's no one there, guess my mind is still a little messed up.
I returned to the Avengers facility and headed straight for my room, eager to avoid everyone, I quite clearly wasn't in the mood for there bullshit.
I had finally gotten comfortable in my room when an agitating voice sounded on the speaker attached to my room "Avengers, head to the conference room, I don't care what your doing, we need a meeting" says Tony Starks voice over the loud speaker as I roll my eyes and get up to go to the meeting, whatever the hell it was about.
"Whatever this is better be important, you interrupted my bath" Sam Wilson AKA the Falcon says as I walk into the room and take a seat.
Once everyone arrives Tony opens a hologram and in the corner is The Hydra symbol making me grit my teeth. "The city is being attacked, Part of it anyway, it's being attacked by Hydra as most of you should know about and if you don't I don't even know why your here, we only need a few of you to go down there and well.. you know get rid of it" says Tony as I watch the live footage of the attack, there seems to be around 20 hydra people fighting off the police while trying to kill the innocent at the same time.
"I thought hydra went down years ago?" Natasha questions and I slightly roll my eyes, that's what they want you to think. "Well obviously not" Steve says seeming agitated about the attack,
"it's Hydra, they wanted you to think they went down, when really there probably plotting some evil plan" I chip in but everyone seems to ignore me, rude.
"Nat, Clint, Wanda, Sam, Bucky you guys seem like the best candidates for this, suit up" Tony says arrogantly.
"Bucky's not going" Steve says, "Steve" I say not really bothered by being picked to go, "he's right, if Hydra does get ahold of him, where screwed" Nat says not even sending me a glance, I swear she hates me.
"Fine, Cap your up" Tony says as he looks over at Cap, "since when do you make all the decisions" Steve argues, "I can pick someone else if you want jee" Tony says throwing his hands up.
Steve rolls his eyes before continuing to have a conversation with Nat, "oh yeah and one of the people that is currently attacking the city is on our kill list" Tony adds as if it's not important, "there name?" I question feeling slightly interested, "how do you expect me to know that? Anyway apparently she's young, she's there best fighter so she won't be hard to pick" he says as everyone nods, "you find her, you kill her, got it?" He questions, "isn't killing a little.. ugh.. not really what we do?" Asks Clint as he crosses his arms, "she had killed more innocent people to count, including children, don't even think she regrets it, now suit up" Tony says as he walks out the room clearly done with the conversation.
Nope it's not her.
I won't believe it.
Because it's not.
It's someone else.
It has to be.
Not her.
Yeah I may pretend to hate her.
After what she did.
God what a stupid thing she did.
But nope.
That's not her.
Not her.
