This sad tale begins.

There was a boy, lost on hope who cried.

I am trapped,
observer of my dark impending fate.
A faking opossum too coward to face,
the reality of things.
Fainting gratitude for life,
while my hope slowly bled.
I whispered the secrets I kept,
in a world where my life is now, only words said.
Actions are unseen in my darkness.
My life is as good as the end.
If only my faith made fate change,
its love for such cruel taste,
I'd see light that never ended.
But into darkness, I unwillingly descend.
Unable to fight,
To change my miserable end.
