There has been little word from Wattpad about why they closed Earnesty Community's account. According to EC HQ, Wattpad said it was because they broke Trust and Safety rules, but when asked what that meant Wattpad didn't respond.
I contacted the Ambassadors to try and get Wattpad's side and let them know that there are some unhappy people from the community who just want to know what's going on. I haven't heard anything yet.
In the meantime, here's another article from the special EC Magazine about mental health. I felt like no matter what is going on between Wattpad and Earnesty, the hard work of these authors, and the importance of mental health help, needed to be showcased. The Earnesty Twitter account (EarnestWrites) also has some photos from the issue.
