Does he know
Stars shine in his eyes
We're flying through the galaxy
But he gets more of a rise

When he smiles—
Are rare occasion
He'll get his way
Eyes alight like Embers
Enough to make me sway

Cold, unfeeling underground
Til he lit it up
Bright like passion, just like mirth
Enough to fill my cup

A grieving soul, that he was
When we both first met
He had the looks of a ghost,
One I'd never forget

Body's lit aflame
Though my feelings won't last
Because his girlfriend's kind to me
And they both have a past
