Dib x Fem. Reader (Valentine's Day)

      "Class!" The teacher growls over the student's loud chatter. Her demon-like body had always given you chills. Hearing the sound of her yell, the classroom quiets down, not wanting to anger her any more than she already is. "As you all know..today is Valentine's day here at the school. Which means it's time to pass out your valentine meat to whomever you wish..." The teacher shudders, the old school tradition grossing her out.
Without another second to spare, the children cheer and start to take out the meat products they had brought. You, however, slump down into your chair with your arms crossed. You hated valentine's day...you never got any meat from any of the students at school. Nobody liked you...and it doesn't help that you were bullied a lot too, making valentine's day harder for you in general. You felt lonely and vulnerable..and very unloved. So you just slumped into your seat, waiting for the whole meat-exchanging thing to be over.
Children walked around, handing each other sausages and steaks and bacon and hotdogs. Everyone sounded so happy..and among the whole hub bub, you hadn't noticed the one student who was still in his seat, with no meat products on his table. It was Dib.
Dib stared at you for a good long moment. He was debating whether or not to walk up to you with his small package of steak he had bought for you. You both had never hung out before. But ever since the science fair, he's developed quite the crush on you. Both of your science fair projects had been about aliens, yours about the anatomy of an alien, his about the different planets of which they live on. Ever since that day, his heart skipped three beats when you walked into the room. Just seeing your (H/L) (H/C) hair made his stomach flip, and his eyes might as well have been heart shaped. This phenomena has never happened to him before, but he liked it...a lot. And now, he was about to give you his only valentine....
      Gulping down his nerves, he tries to hold back his fear of rejection as he gets out of his seat. He slowly walks over to you and stands there next to your desk, waiting for you to notice him. You don't notice him at first, because you were covering your face with your hands, as you desperately try not to cry. But Dib clears his throat, and this startles you, making you look up and turn towards him in surprise. Whoa...the cool science dude was talking to you! Holy crap.
      Dib clears his throat again and smiles sheepishly, holding the steak behind his back. "H-hey, (Y/N)...! I, uh--" he looks down nervously, and he rocks back and forth on his heels. "I...I've R-REALLY..-- d-do you know when uhh...when, uh, and alien s-sees a special metal such as gold or silver, they uh..the feeling of..--UGH!" Frustrated with himself, he slumps his shoulders and takes the meat out from behind his back. He holds it out to you, looking off to the side grumpily. "I got you this meat...."
You stop and stare wide eyed at the package of steak. This...was the first time anybody had given you a valentine steak before...and you heart skipped five beats when you hear his last remark. This boy...who YOU'VE had a crush on ever since the science fair, just gave YOU a VALENTINE'S STEAK. Yes, you had a crush on him also. The feelings you both felt were mutual and identical. And this couldn't have made you any more happier than what you already were.
Blinking a few times, you slowly reach out and take the package from Dib. The meat was cold and slimey under the plastic covering, and usually, raw meat grossed you out. But right now, you didn't care. This was an amazing gift. It was the best gift you had ever gotten in your life. Dib peeks over towards you to see your reaction, and is astonished to see a soft smile and blush spread across your face. This is when he starts to stutter again, his heart racing and his stomach turning. He smiles sheepishly and rubs the back of his neck. Blush spreads across his cheeks.
"I-I was wondering i-if, uh...w--" he clears his throat, "W-would you wanna--"
"Yes." You smile as you watch him fluster himself. You were used to hiding your emotions...but now, you wanted to let them free.
"W-wha...?" He looks at you in surprise, his eyes widening behind his glasses. "You do?? ...Are we talking about the same thing here?" He questions curiously.
"I..think so..." you smile happily, and your blush glows a deeper pinkish red. "D-do you mean like a...date?"
Dib's face suddenly turns bright red, eyes even wider at this point. "...Y-yeah...?" He says in almost a question.
This causes you to giggle. "Uhm...wanna walk me home later..?"
"Y-yeah! Sure! Heh.." his smile was a beautiful ray of sunshine, and it made your heart flutter. It made your stomach flip. And it made you incredibly happy..
Dib nods and chuckles shyly, "S-so...see you after school?"
You smile and nod. "Yup. Right after school."
"Alright.." another smile is exchanged, just before the teacher slams her ruler on the desk and orders everybody back into their seats. You giggle to yourself happily as you stay sitting in your chair, waiting for the clock to strike 3:00 pm, so you and YOUR Dib could walk home.~<3
