I'm Not Cold; Just Scared

(^_^') Chapter 15 (^_^')

"Where are your parents by the way hyung?" Kuanlin asked Jinyoung. Jinyoung shrugged. "I don't know, something about lands and stuff but I'm not bothered, really."

They all took two taxis and not helping Jinyoung's nerves, he found himself next to Daehwi. Daehwi looked at Jinyoung. "Hyung your face looks different today, what did you do?"

Jinyoung spluttered. "W-what do you mean by different?"

Daehwi looked at Jinyoung longer, making the older's heart almost burst. "I don't know your face is kind of...glowing, I guess?"

Jinyoung was happy that Hyungseob was in the other taxi or he would have surely said "I told you" Not gonna lie, Jinyoung was actually surprised at Hyungseob's makeup skills and made a mental note to thank him later.

Meanwhile, Jinyoung shrugged, "I don't know why it looks different today haha..." He trailed off awkwardly.

Daehwi smiled to himself. He had no clue why but he woke up feeling unusually happy, as if something that would make him really happy would happen later. He was so excited but he had no idea why, but decided to shrug it off and go on with his day.

They arrived, and unsurprisingly, they all split up. Seonho and Woojin ran to the food stalls, Jihoon and Kuanlin went off towards the couple games and Samuel and Hyungseob grinned to each other before walking off, leaving Jinyoung and Daehwi alone.

Jinyoung felt betrayed when he saw his friends practically ditch him, and then felt flustered when he realized that he was left with Daehwi.

They some candy floss and they were minding their own business when Jinyoung spotted a game called "Show Off" And true to it's title, a shirtless was standing in the middle, showing off his perfectly toned abs while the girls squealed.

And Jinyoung had lost his abs thanks to Jisung's cooking. NOT GREAT.

"Hey look, hyung, there seems to be a large crowd over there, shall we see what it is?" Daehwi asked, going towards that direction. Jinyoung's eyes widened. Nope, there was no way he would let Daehwi see a shirtless guy with a good body on the day he was planning to confess to the younger.

"Uh hahaha can we go in that direction?" Jinyoung asked, stepping in front of Daehwi to hide the view.

"But why?" Daehwi asked trying to look past Jinyoung's shoulder. Jinyoung kept shifting his position trying to block the view. When all his efforts were failing, Jinyoung sighed to himself and hugged Daehwi, slowly turning the younger around so he was facing the other side and put his arm around Daehwi's shoulder trying hard to pretend that it was all completely normal.

"What the- hyung what are you doing?" Daehwi asked. 

"Ah no I saw Hyungseob hyung and Muel walking in that direction so maybe we should just go there?" Jinyoung improvised, praying to god that Daehwi would fall for his lie.

The younger shrugged, saying "Why not?"

Jinyoung exhaled in relief as they went in that direction. Bad move, because that corner appeared to be the Couple Corner. There were kissing  booths, pole dancing and all that stuff while music such as Hyolyn's Dally and NCT U's Baby don't stop were playing.
