Sinalubong kami ng mapanuring titig ni Pringe habang magkahawak kami ng kamay pagkababa ng sasakyan. Nung nilingon ko ang katabi ko, nanlalaki ang mga mata nya.
“K-Kuya? K-Kelan ka pa nakauwi?” Nauutal na sabi nya. Kumunot ang noo ko sa pagngisi ni Pringe at bumaling sakin.
“From the day that I’ve learned you went in a trekking.” He coldly said while looking at me. Bumitaw sa pagkakahawak si Heart sa kamay ko at tumakbo papunta sa Kuya nya. They hugged each other and Pringe kissed her on forehead then whispered something to her.
“What’s the meaning of this Love?” My bad, but I’ve heard it kahit pa gaano kahina ‘yon. Nilingon ako ni Love at ngumiti, bago bumaling ulit kay Pringe at bumulong din.
“Kuya, he still loves me.” Sagot nya na ikinangisi ko. Binigyan ako ng masamang tingin ni Pringe then I wiped my smirk off my face and gave him a cold face.
“We’ll talk later, kakausapin ko muna ang lalaking ‘yan.” Bulong nya pabalik bago sila naghiwalay sa yakap.
Pringe cleared his throat. “Let’s talk inside” Seryoso ang tono nya and I just nodded then we entered their gloomy house silently.
Umakyat si Heart sa kwarto at nilingon nya ako, tumango lang ako bago sya tuluyang makapasok sa loob. Nilagpasan namin ang kwarto ni Heart at umakyat papunta sa rooftop. Sumunod lang ako ng tahimik hanggang sa makarating na kami doon. He put his hands inside his pocket and fixed his gaze to nowhere.
“I know my sister hurt you so much, but don’t do this to her.” My forehead crinkled after he said that.
“What do you mean by that?” Naguguluhang tanong ko.
“You’re just pretending that you still love her. Look, if you’re planning to get even with her, stop now—”
“It’s genuine and I don’t have even a slightest idea to get even with her” I said with gritted teeth.
“Really? You are Big Bad Wolf and I know what are your capabilities. Hindi ka papayag na matalo. You’re not even capable of conceding.” Lalong nag igting ang panga ko sa sinabi nya.
“Akala ko din, but I’m wrong. She ask for forgiveness and who am I to not give it to the woman I love? I’m Big Bad Wolf and I will do everything just to know the untold reason behind her leaving.” This time ay napatingin na sya sakin.
“Let’s say you have the pure intention with her, but how about your fiancee? Masasaktan pa din ang kapatid ko kahit saang anggulo tignan. I can’t afford to see her in pain again.” He seriously said with so much distress on his face.
“I’ll work with that, and I won’t hurt your sister. Oo aaminin ko nasaktan nya ako, ng sobra. Pero gagawin ko ang lahat ngayon para hindi na ulit sya mawala. I won’t hurt her and hell, I can’t afford to lose her again” He gazed away after I said those words. Bakit may mali ba sa sinabi ko?
