LEENA'S P.O.V.
Hey, my name is Leena. I am just your average 16 year old girl.
This story is going to be as boring and repetitive as the other stories you've heard. I am a new girl in this new school called SMK FC, a pretty popular school, I would say.
However, If I had to choose which school to go to, I would have picked my old high school.
Going to a new school is definitely going to be scary, especially because you're in a new area and you don't know anyone there.
But I will do it for my father's sake! He has a new job here anyway.
Father's car stopped in front of my new school. He gave me a kiss on the cheek, "Good luck, darling. I wish you all the best." He smiled.
I got out of the car and waved goodbye, as father drove off.
I turned around and stared at the huge building in front of me. Here goes nothing.
I entered the building and went to search for a teacher who could help me find my classroom.
Not long after, I found a teacher at the assembly area. I told her that I was a new student here.
"Do you happen to be Leena, by any chance?" She asked. I nodded, surprised that she knew my name. "Well, you're lucky! I will be your class teacher!" She smiled.
We talked for a minute, and then she brought me to the teacher's office.
I had to fill in some more of my details on a some kind of form. After that, the teacher said "Okay, so your classroom is 4-2, and your class teacher here is Mrs Smith." She introduced herself.
She then brought me downstairs to the 3rd floor and to class 4-2. I was very nervous, I bet everyone is going to stare at me!
Mrs Smith knocked on the door and twisted the knob open. I silently shuffled into the classroom, as my new classmates stared at me.
Mrs Smith spoke, "Alright, class. You have a new student today, her name is Leena." She turned her head to look at me.
I gulped, voicing out, "Uh, nice to meet you, everyone." I smiled.
After Mrs Smith left, I went to take a seat at the only empty seat in the classroom.
Surprisingly, all the students have went back to whatever they were doing, like they hadn't even seen me.
Except for one girl.
"Hi, your name is Leena, right??" She smiled excitedly at me.
This girl sitting next to me was.. very energetic.
"Uh, yeah! It's Leena." I replied.
"My name is Siti, it's nice to meet you!" She put her right hand out, wanting to shake my hand.
I blushed, shaking her hand.
"So, how are you feeling so far? Scared?" Siti asked some more.
I answered her, "Well, I expected everyone here to keep staring at me, but.."
Siti laughed, "Yeah, they usually don't care. We get new students all the time, since a lot get expelled every week."
I raised an eyebrow in confusion, "Really? I didn't know there were many bad students here."
"There's still more here, of course." Siti started explaining, "One of them is called the Beef Bones, which is the baddest gang here in this school!"
I blinked a few times, "The Beef Bones?"
"Hell yeah, only the baddest are accepted into the gang by the leader named Jakim."
"I see.." I asked, "How do you know about all this?"
Siti was silent for a moment, and then laughed nervously, "Let's just say I'm into bad boys.."
"What??"
"I-I know, it's weird, okay?" She scolded. "But you should know that I'm not the only one who is.. almost every girl in this grade is into Jakim."
I didn't know what to say. A gangster hurts other people, how could people like them?
"But don't worry, I am going to make you see how awesome Jakim is! I promise you, he is so badass and epic!" Siti said excitedly.
"...Okay then." I said nervously.
The school bell rang as soon as I finished my sentence. All the students keep their books and ran out.
"Come on, let's eat!" Siti pulled me out of the classroom in an instant.
~~~
The cafeteria was packed with students. Students were lining up to but some food, while the others sat down with their homemade lunch.
Siti pulled me to an empty table. She sat down with a huge grin on her face. "He is going to walk past us to his table, so we can get a good look of him!"
"Look, I don't really care now, I just need some food--"
"He's here!"
Before I could finish my sentence, Siti started fangirling softly along with the rest of the girls in the cafeteria.
I turned my gaze towards the entrance of the cafeteria.
A boy who looks to be the same age as me, had entered the cafeteria with an annoyed look. He had three other boys behind him, who looked like they didn't give a shit about the girls screaming around them as well.
He, who I assumed was Jakim, brushed his hair with his right hand, and continued walking past the students to his table.
As soon as Jakim and his gang walked past each table, the girls in the group start giggling with each other.
As Jakim was walking past my table, he gave me a stare. I furrowed my eyebrows, staring back at him.
When Jakim was far away from us, Siti screamed into my ears, "OH MY GOSH HE LOOKED AT YOU!!"
"Yes, he did.. He isn't that hot." I insulted.
"Woah, if you said that in front of his fans, they'd tear you into pieces! You're lucky I'm not like that!" Siti laughed, as she watched Jakim and his gang sit down at their table.
Siti and I continued eating our lunch and ran back to class.
I still don't understand what's so special about him.
~~~
The last school bell rang, indicating school has ended.
I kept my books and walked out of the classroom. "See you tomorrow, Leena!" Siti waved. "Bye!" I waved back.
As I reached the ground floor, I saw a familiar face once again.
Jakim was leaning on a wall behind him with his left foot on the wall. The wall was definitely going to get dirty, but a person like him wouldn't care anyway.
I took a deep breath and walked past him, my eyes staring straight at the school gate.
But I couldn't help it, I turned my gaze towards Jakim
...only to realize that he was staring at me as well.
He definitely was glaring at me, but at the same time it looked like he was confused too. His eyebrows were slightly furrowed and his lips were slightly parted.
Confused about what? I had no idea.
I quickly looked away and rushed out of the school.
