"Okay! I'm going to count to three!"
"W-What!? What do you mean!? What are we going to do at three!?"
"Jump!"
"Jump!?"
"Yes! That's what I said!"
"Are you mad!?"
"Obviously, but that's not the point!"
"Oh god, oh god!"
"Okay! One! Two!"
"I can't believe you!"
"THREE!"
The Doctor and Martha had been standing at the edge of a massive ship. Currently in flames, as it hovered over the pale blue sky, darker than average with a purple tinge. The fire which engulfed the craft licked the air with fierce agility.
The two had run as fast as they could to escape but it seemed they had reached a dead-end when they were met with an exploded wall. Open metal plates peeling outward to the open view of an alien planet. Unknown to Martha and somewhat known to the Doctor.
Below them was an extreme amount of ocean. Only a few small islands seemed to scatter across the watery land. And with the little amount of time left before the ship blew, both the Doctor and humans options were even fewer.
So, to the Doctors request, he did the only thing he felt they could do now, teetering on the edge of death.
"THREE!"
Martha took a hold of the alien's hand and tightly held on as the two leapt into the air. Their bodies only repelled further when the metal craft continued to explode behind them. It was a miracle neither one of them were stuck with shards of glass and other materials as they began to fall.
The impending impact of the ocean was growing closer and closer. The doctors long, brown jacket flowed upwards as he and Martha plummeted downwards. The two screamed all the way down until they were eventually cut off with a loud splash.
There was silence for a good while, nothing but the sound of flames and smaller pieces falling into the water from the sky. It was a solid few minutes before both figures burst from the water, gasping for air, clutching at each other to help keep each one afloat.
"D-Doctor! Haah! Doctor!" Martha gasped, choking on the water which had threatened to spill into her lungs. "I'm here! I'm here..." Once the two were stable, catching their breaths, Martha was quick and eager to pull herself into the older male. Using the fact she might slip under as an excuse, not that she could hold back the small smirk which spread across her lips as the Doctor held her tight. The two bobbed in the water as the distracted Doctor continued to look for land.
"There! We can swim there, it's not far." Martha was met with the Doctor shoving free and disappointment once again set in. Still, she too would have liked to set foot on dry land again so wasn't far behind in swimming.

Their bodies struggled as they managed to pull themselves onto land. The sand stuck to their wet bodies despite how desperately they tried to wipe it off. Martha had to strip from her red leather jacket as she scrambled to her feet. The heaviness was unbearable with her more frail body. The Doctor, on the other hand, didn't seem to take notice of the weight, instead, taking note of his surroundings.
The island they landed upon was small, very small. In the distance, more small islands covered the water, with only more ocean in front of those.
"This is the last time you take me to a water-based planet covered in alien scouts looking to harvest fallen stardust from a dying planet!" Martha spat as she continued to try and wipe the sand from her soaked jeans, stumbling up behind the Doctor who was looking around for a solution.
