So before we get into this incredible story and get ahead of ourselves, as much as I wish I did, I do not own this plot at all. This story belongs to an app called 'Choices' which is, as it says, a game where you can choose a story and live it whilst choosing certain options. The plot to this story and most of the characters, much to my dismay, do not belong to me and I make no attempt whatsoever to steal them or pretend that they do. The only thing I can truly own in this is my MC, Elena Clair, and the choices she makes. That being said, however, if this book is copyrighted or stolen in any way shape of form I will find you, report you, and end you. Don't think I'm joking. On a cheerier note, let the story commence! *le bow*

"Facial match confirmed." IRIS's hologram nodded, bewilderment flickering in her pixilated eyes. "That is indeed Everett Rourke."
You felt as if your brain had turned to mush in your head and you couldn't quite comprehend that was happening. Behind you, you heard the gasps and exclamations of shock of the others in the group, and took a step backwards to lean against the desk.
"What on earth is he doing here? Has he been here all along?"
"You're telling me that the whole time we were walking around this office, the man responsible for all this was just floating there?" Estella asked angrily, gesturing wildly at the unconscious man.
Alesiter slowly walked up to the tank, icily staring at his fathers slumbering face. "You can't hide from me now, Father. Now you have to face me."
"Yeah, the rest of us might have some questions for him too." You muttered furiously.
"Now how do we get him outta-" You cut yourself off when you noticed that Estella was already hitting random buttons on the computer.
There was a strange squelching noise as the liquid in the tank began to drain, and the various tubes left Rourke suspended in mid air.
"I advise against waking him suddenly. Long periods of unsuspended animation could prove-"
The glass tube retracted into the ceiling and Rourke fell forwards, slumping out, naked, as the last of the green fluid spilled out at his feet. Alesiter immediately lurched forward to catch him, and Rourke's eyes weakly fluttered open.
"Y... you..."
Aleister's face quivered, seemingly somewhere between a sneer and a sob. "Yes. It's me." He said, voice cracking as he nodded curtly.
Rourke feebly pushed himself up and, without even glancing at the others in his room, staggered to the large windows and gazed out at the dawn through dazed eyes, slurring words under his breath.
"The... Endless... is..." He breathed out through shaking breath, and cut himself off abruptly.
You frowned.
"'The Endless'? What is that? What are you talking about?" You asked, and Rourke tensed all over, as if he had only just noticed that there were other people in the room as well.
He glared at you and opened his mouth the say something when-
WHAM! Estella's fist collided with his jaw with a sickening crack.
"Estella!" Aleister cried in outrage as his father staggered back, crashing through his desk chair, going sprawling.
Estella pursued him furiously.
"Estella, I advise restraint-" IRIS began, her hologram flickering into Estella's path, but she marched straight through the projection, advancing on her prey.
