⋆ 𝗦𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥 the screams. They echoed through the estate, and it was something that Vanya had come to start to fear. She gasped, trying to keep up her energy with the others, her heels clicking against the wooden floors of the Manor ━ she had learnt throughout her time here how to run in heels without injuring herself further. She craned to find William, but all she could see were the lights flickering above her. The hallways seemed claustrophobic the more they ran down, and Vanya's breathing started to get shallower. Everything around her was becoming overstimulated, but she focused on her sprint.
"Jamie! Quick, hold my hand!" Vanya said as she grabbed his hand. At first, he couldn't hear her, her words falling on deaf ears, but then he realised what she was doing and held on tighter to her hand. Vanya could feel his body shake through his hand, and Vanya wanted nothing more than to comfort him during this time, but that wasn't possible, with the teenagers twisting and turning to escape whatever was chasing them.
"What the hell is going on? Where the fuck do we go?" Sedona said as she waited for Vanya and Jamie to get through the doors before shutting them behind them. Vanya helped with boarding the door before she turned to face everyone, watching their reactions.
