Y/N: Yeah. Now will you try to do good?
Duke: Yes dad.
I just sighed and started to chuckle.
Duke: What's funny?
Y/N: The face you're going to make when we train.
I got up and left Duke for a little before we land.
5 minutes later (elevator to Ozpin's office)
Glynda: I still don't think he should be trying to join this late.
Y/N: Whatever you think.
The doors opened and Ozpin watched us come in.
Ozpin: So How was the trip?
Glynda: It was good..... until we brought back an extra kid.
Ozpin saw Duke.
Ozpin: Who are you, young man?
I pushed Duke forward.
Duke: My name is Duke, sir.
Ozpin: Duke... do you have a last name?
Duke: No sir, not anymore.
Ozpin: Would you like to tell me why?
Duke sighed and looked down.
Duke: With all due respect sir, I'd rather not talk about it.
Ozpin: Okay. When you are ready, I need to know for your file here at the school.
Duke: Wait. Does that mean?
Ozpin: Yes, welcome to Beacon Academy.
Duke: Thank you sir!
Y/N: Sir?
Ozpin: Yes Y/N?
Y/N: Which team would he be on?
Ozpin started to think for a little bit.
Ozpin: Well since you are an extra..... I'll take you off team RWBY, and put you and Duke on the first two man team.
Y/N and Duke: Yes!
Y/N: Which dorm will we stay in.
Ozpin: The dorm next to team RWBY.
Y/N: Okay.
We walked out quietly but that changed when the doors to the elevator closed.
Duke: Yes! I'm in Beacon!
Y/N: I know! Glad you got in though.
Duke: Same here.
6 minutes later (outside RWBY's dorm)
Y/N: I'll go in sad and try to convince them that you couldn't join, and after about five minutes knock on the door or do whatever you want.
Duke: Finally!
I knocked on the door. I heard everyone running around in there. Yang opened up the door. I acted sad.
Yang: Hey Y/N what's up?
She looked around.
Yang: Where's Duke?
Y/N: Ozpin said he couldn't join Beacon and had him leave immediately.
Yang: Oh. I'm sorry.
Y/N: It's okay, but could you leave me alone for a little.
Yang: Sure.
I walked in and everyone else looked at me.
Blake: Where's Duke at?
Ruby: Yeah. He said he.... would... sh-
She got quiet. I could tell Yang was telling everyone to stop asking that. I went to my stuff and started gathering everything.
Ruby: What are you doing?
Y/N: Well..... Duke can't come, so I have to leave.
Everyone: What?!
Y/N: Yeah.
We heard a knock at the door. Weiss got up and walked to the door and opened it.
Weiss: No one is at the door.
She closed the door and walked back. Everyone was watching me, but behind them was a bucket of water.
Splash!
Everyone looked behind them and saw Duke.
Everyone:(angrily) Duke!
I busted out laughing.
Weiss: What's so funny?
Y/N: I told Duke to do something, but I didn't expect that.
Blake: Wait! So Duke is joining the school?
Duke: Yup!
Ruby: So What team is Duke going to be on?
Y/N: He is going to be on a two man team with me.
Weiss: What a two man team?
Y/N: Yes that is what I said.
Yang: So where will you be living at?
Duke: The dorm next to yours. So expect pranks each morning.
Everyone: What?
Y/N: Yup. Duke loves his pranks. Sorry to ruin the fun bet we better get to our dorm, Duke.
Duke: Yeah I still have to unpack.
We walked out and went to our dorm.
