Alone, I stand.
With the warm memories of us, hand in hand.
Eyes are closed,
Throat is tight,
Heart pumping loudly in the cold night.
I hope,
I dream,
That you will come back to me.
How such a fate could have happen to us, I know not.
The warm times we shared, how could God have forgot?
We were linked together.
We promised each other to be together, for now and for ever.
But you were taken away,
To a high, far place.
I know you are with me.
I know you are in my shadow.
But wait for me,
I'll be there, soon.
And when I see you again, happiness will overtake the gloom.
Wait for me,
I'll be there, soon.
Soon, I'll be in heaven with you.
