TO HIDE

Amanda POV

I'm glad that we are still at the starting of filming the auditions of Britain's Got Talent. It's good to have something that keeps me away from my house, and especially from Chris. I know that he doesn't like the fact that I'm away from him for the majority of the day, but he's somehow managed a way to accept it.

While I brush my hair, I accidentally brush my face and hit a sore spot. Ugh, please, don't let it be a bruise... I look in the mirror of my dressing room and it only confirms my fears. I quickly take my makeup bag and apply a bit of extra makeup.

Alesha POV

Auditions are continuing today so I've been greeting my fellow judges and some of the crew members. So far, I've seen everyone except Amanda. That's strange... she is usually one of the first people I met in auditions mornings... I open the door of her dressing room and I see her doing final touches to her makeup. "Hey, Mandy!" She responds with an unenthusiastic "Hello", without even looking at me. "Is everything alright, Amanda?" Her voice is cold when she replied "Fine. What do you need?" "Um... I don't need anything. I was just coming to say hello, but you seem busy so I'll just be going now." I exit her dressing room and reach the judges' room. Something is definitely going on, and I need to learn what.

Amanda POV

I see Alesha's face deflate in the corner of my eye. I feel so incredibly bad for acting like this way towards her, but I honestly don't know what else to do. I'm just glad I covered my bruise before she walked in. that would not have gone well. I close my eyes and I'm thankful that I was able to hold her off a bit longer. I just don't know how much longer I'll be able to do so.

"Auditions start in ten minutes, miss Holden." I hear alongside a knock on the door. I quickly finish my makeup and go to meet the other judges in our room, since I believe it's just better to follow my normal routine. As I walk in, I exchange a quick "Hello" with Simon and David, neither of whom I've seen today until now.

"Have you been hiding from us today, Amanda?" David asks in his usual joking manner. Except I take it seriously and respond with a cryptic "I've been busy." I can feel everyone's eyes looking at me and giving me strange looks, especially Alesha. "Are you ready for auditions?" I ask them, immediately trying to deflate the attention from me. Simon left out an exasperated laugh. "No, if it's anything like yesterday. There were hardly any acts that turned out to be worthwhile." David nods in agreement. "Even I tough yesterday was bad."

just then, we're told that it's time to enter the arena. The audience begins to cheer as we step out and take our seats at the panel.

Hi guys, this is the first chapter of the story. This will be a Simanda and Dalesha story, but I love the friendship between Amanda and Alesha, so there will be a lot of it. I'm not English, so I want to apologize for grammar errors. Also, the story will be updated every two weeks, so the next chapter will be out on September 12th. I hope you like it!
