"Can anyone tell me what the answer is to square root of 64 plus 22?" The teacher seemed so excited. Her red hair danced around in her bun and her glasses slid to her nose. she had a type of librarian look. Her face was long and her green eyes flashed surrounded by her ghostly skin. Her skirt was wrinkled in odd patterns and hung weirdly at her knobby knees.  Her blouse was just the same. "Anyone?" I ignored her continues attempts to get any living soul to answer the question. It was really an easy question. It had two answers though, which I think I am the only one in the class who knows that much. I raised my hand.

"30 and 14."  I quickly regretted showing my talent for math. Most the kids just stared at me with jealousy and dislike while others were in complete shock. The teacher quickly checked my work then gave me a nod of approval.  It wasn't that I was dumb but I wasn't that smart either. I usually kept to myself, and even if I knew the answer I didn't say it. I kept my grades at a solid B so I didn't seem like a geeky school nerd, or how Linda said it: "A know-it-all-show-off-loser."

"Homework is page 45 numbers 1-50." the teacher said just as the bell rung. I quickly scanned that page of the book and started packing up my stuff. Most the kids had already abandoned the classroom for lunch. I stray behind and take my time, its smart if you think about it. You miss all the long lines and crowded hallways.  "Mrs. Cial?" She butchered my last name.

"yeah?" I swung my backpack onto my shoulder.

"the answer you gave today... did you guess? We haven't gone over that in depth yet. You gave both answers.... I was looking for one."

"My mind just works differently." I used my moms old saying she would tell me when I was 5 and able to recite Shakespeare, verbatim.

"What do you mean by that?"

"It just works differently. I should get to lunch." She nodded, still  not content with my answers. I scurried out of the room and into the almost deserted hallway. Linda stood leaning against the locker.

"Hey, hun, what took you so long?!" She hooked our arms together, not waiting for my answer. She pulled me to the chaotic lunch room, her hooker skirt gaining the eyes of everyone there. Linda was what you call the school slut. She got in-house, more often then not, for her very short, revealing outfits. She has probably slept with half the population of the school, including my brother. GROSS.  Finally, she has a reputation. We were complete opposites.  "Hey, Bitches!!!!" She yelled to the table of her fellow cheerleaders.

"Lin! whats up?" One smiled and they chatted, I just nibbled at my sandwich. I was far from being a cheerleader. In reality, I could be, I suppose, but I refused to wear those stupid uniforms. I slowly snuck away from the table and exited quietly out of the lunchroom. I am pretty sure that Linda didn't even notice my absence.  My life was split into sections, that is how I explain it anyways. You have the school Drea. She is quiet, keeps to herself and not very outgoing. Then you have the Smart Drea. She is quiet, and can get almost every problem you give to her.  You have Street Drea. She is the loud, troublemaker. And finally, Freak Drea. She is well a freak. These four Drea's very rarely overlap, but when they do, it is chaos!!

"Psst! Markus!" He turned around, taken back, most likely by the way I was dressed. Markus was the silent leader of the local gang. They were really harmless and not even that scary. The people I was with were doing business with his "people". "What you got?" He looked me up and down. I guess my grey jacket and blue skinny jeans weren't exactly intimidating.

"No way in hell did Ari send you. So who the fuck are you?" I rolled my eyes.

"Give me what you got, and I will be on my way."

"I aint giving you anything, fake bitch!"

"Gosh damn it. We can do this the easy way, hun, or the hard way." He let out an annoying chuckle.

"You will be hearing form Ari later." I stomped off, leaving him just standing there. I hated doing work at school. The bell rung ending lunch.
