It was as normal as could be at the Avengers tower, well kinda, just yesterday we stopped Loki and his army from ruling earth so New York is cleaning up, we're dealing with "consequences" and Thor went back to Asgard to return the tesseract and let the God father deal with Loki.
It was nearing 8 o'clock and we were all just talking about the last couple of days and how crazy they were until Thor directed all attention to me.
"Lady y/n." Thor started
"Yes Thor?" I questioned, curious as to wheater he was going to ask me a question or just say my name, he sounded like a father demanding silence from his child, just without the lady part.
"I was hoping to ask you of a favor, will you accept?"
"Well I don't know what it is."
"Well, my father has put Loki in house arrest and has prohibited him from using any magic."
"Okayyy..." I trailed off confused as to how this was a favor.
"Well Loki has his needs and needs to still attend certain gatherings as he is a prince of Asgard, but he needs someone to help, like a maid, so I must ask, would you be loki's maid for awhile?"
Shock took over my body, Thor has got to be kidding, he wants me, a normal girl with no superpowers whatsoever (I have the same skill set as Natasha) to be a maid to a mass murderer such as Loki himself? Has he lost his common sense?
It seems like everyone was quite schocked by Thor's question, eyes darting back and fourth, between me and Thor anticipating my response.
Finally Cap spoke up for me
"Uh big guy I don't think that's such a great idea, Loki is a murderer, and although his powers were stripped away from him, I wouldn't put it past him to find a way to hurt y/n."
"Nonsense, I can assure you that Loki will not hurt lady y/n."
"Yeah because he totally didn't kill 80 people in two days." Stark says, sarcasm dripping with every word, let's also mention the biggest roll of eyes ever.
"I don't think I can accept Thor, he fooled me once, and where did that lead? A stab to the stomach, I am not to be stabbed again."
Everyone gave me a confused look
"It's true, he transformed himself into a dog because he knows that I love dogs, so I went to pick up the dog to admire it and he transformed back into himself and he was like "MBLERGH IT'S ME!" And he stabbed me, we were at the Stark tower at the time."
Thor chuckled
"Excuse me? Are you laughing at me?" I asked
"No, no, it's just funny because he did the same thing to me when we were eight, except he transformed into a snake."
"Oh how lovely, he fooled two people with the same trick." Fury mumbled
"Uh Fury? Haven't you got somewhere to be?" Nat questioned
"If you mean a meeting with the council the answer is no, I make rational decisions, not stupid ass one's."
"LANGUAGE!" Cap yelled
"Calm down capsicle." Tony piped
"...rrright anyway, sorry Thor but you'll have to find someone else." I kindly rejected not wanting the God of thunder mad with me.
"Please lady y/n your the only one, every other one of Loki's maids have ran away within an hour... Or less."
"And how are you to know I won't do the same?"
"Because you are strong and brave."
"Ha that's why she was sorted in Gryffindor!" Clint said
(Sorry if your not a Gryffindor, feel free to put your house in instead of Gryffindor unless you don't really care for it doesn't affect the story)
Everyone gave Clint a 'really' kind of look
"What? It's not my fault I'm a Potterhead."
I looked back at Thor who was giving me his best puppy dog eyes
"All right Thor, I'll do it, but if that murderer even so as touch me there's no guarantee I won't go lady hulk mode, no offense Bruce." I apologized knowing he's still sensitive to that topic.
"None taken." Bruce assured me
"Are you sure you want to do this? Your one of my best agents, I don't want anything to happen to you, I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you." Fury questioned, mumbling the last part, but I still heard.
"Thanks for looking out for me Fury, but I can handle this I am after all one of your best agents." I winked at the last part
"Hey y/n?" Nat started
"Yeah Nat?" I said
"Если он коснется тебя, я бью его задницу." She said dead serious (If he touches you, I'll beat his ass)
"понял" I laughed (got it)
Yeah I speak Russian, so me and Nat just speak Russian sometimes so no one can understand us. Nat's like a sister to me.
"Shall we go lady y/n?" Thor asked
"We shall." I smiled
And off we went to Asgard.
