Oh wow, look how nice I am, writing this chapter for the 7th time.

Toshinori POV

Today had been exhausting, those villains just kept coming and coming, I sighed.
I flopped down onto my sofa as I exhale every last breath of stress out of me, my head is ringing..

Ringing... now that I think about it someone had called me earlier today. Pulling out my phone, I decided to check who it was

My eyes widen, that's right! Today is weekend, I was supposed to visit her in jail-- wait a second how did she call if

Ping

My attention shifts back to my phone to see a new messege from her

Are you busy right now?

"No" I replied

(Typing...)

Come meet me at the place I last dropped you off in a few mins

Honestly, I was a little confused but certainly was curious so I stood up and checked myself in the mirror...not the best.
I wash my face and place a bandaid on a small cut on my cheek then I put on some cleaner clothes and head out.

As I was walking to the place I started to wonder how she was sending these messages, I mean...she was in jail...right? This wasnt some kind of trap now, was it?
I started to think of all the possibilities of the situation when I was saw her. My anxious heart gained a different anxiety as it started to pound in a different beat, a breath escaped my lips...seeing her like this..without bars ot glass between us..is truly something.

She looked nervously around then back at her phone then fixed her shirt every so often which made me chuckle, how cute. From the looks of it she still hasn't noticed me so I decided to text her

Look up ahead

Once she recieved the messege she did so and her confused expression was replaced by an adorable smile. She waved me over

"Hi Toshi!" She greeted cheerfully as I chuckled to myself.
The chuckle was soon caught in my throat as I sensed a pair of arms around my waist, I froze up but soon melted into her embrace.

This...this is nice.

Y/N POV

I was so happy to finally see Toshi face to face that I didnt think twice, though I wish I did. As nice as this hug was, I felt myself get embarrassed right away.
I loosen the hug and he did too as we took a step back to look at each other, his hand travelled from my back to my shoulder to now my hand...it was almost as if...he didnt want to let go.

"You're out already?" He asked as he let go of my hand

"Y-yes, today was the last day..they let me out early" I replied, scratching the back of my neck

"I'm so sorry, I wanted to go see you but...you know" he said guilty to which I waved off

"You can apologise by coming with me" I smiled as he did too

"Where ...exactly?" He asked, his smiled flickering as he glanced at my bike

"Well..." I sat on the bike "when I called you I wanted to have coffee but now it's too late for that" I looked at him

"Sorry.." he looked down as he laughed nervously

"So we are going for ice cream! Hop on" I cheered as I threw an helmet at him.
When he caught the helmet he had given me a nervous look to which disappeared soon after as he sat behind me. I placed my helmet on as started off
"Seat belts"

"O-oh" he muttered out as he placed his arms around my waist, I laughed slightly as I drove off.

Toshinori POV

We had arrived at an icecream stall near the road and hopped off, I feel like...I'm getting used to this
(No duh, you jump hella high but cant get used to a bike?)

"What flavour?" She had asked, walking closer to the stall "I like (favourite flavour)!" She grinned as I chuckled.

"What would you two love birds like?" The man asked, ready for our order.
I chocked as he said those words, covering some blood that may have escaped my lips

"O-oh we arent-- we're not-- it's not what you think-- y-you see--"

"I'm not a bird"

"...."

"...."

I laughed at her response, our responses really, they were both quite silly. Soon after Y/N joined in the laughter.

"S-sorry I'll have this one please" I requests in between laughter

"Make it two balls of icecream! He is a man with balls" Y/N joked

"And for you Madam?" The man inched closer to the counter, leaning in too much

"Oh! I'll have a ball of (favourite flavour) and another one of (second favourite flavour)" she asked, cheerfully.
As the man handed her over her icecream he had winked and to that, without thinking, I had placed an arm around her.

Y/N POV

I flinch slightly at the sudden touch, Toshinori had suddenly placed an arm around my waist while (what seemed like) intense staring contest against the icecream guy
(He was glaring at him)
Tough I dont really mind....but I did feel my cheeks start to heat up as he walked away still holding onto me, it felt nice....

"S-sorry!" He suddenly apologized as if he only realized now what he had done

"I-its ok!" I stuttered

After that there was awkward silent which I decided to break before it got worse
"L-lets sit over there!" I announced as I grabbed his wrist and dragged him there. When I glanced at him I had noticed his face seemed a little red...perhaps it was too cold out or....he felt..uncomfortable..?

We sat down eating out icecream
"Sorry...it wasnt the wisest idea to bring someone to eat icecream when it's cold at night" I laughed nervously, looking down ...that's unusual.

"Its ok...its never to cold for icecream" he says smiling as I gasped

"That's what I said!" I say excited as he looked back at me suprised "ok so like...Kurama never let's me have icecream in winter- which is weird in my opinion...."
And just like that we started a new conversation, with jokes and laughter.

"What exactly happened to your face?" I asked leaning in

"I...I uhhh..was born with it?" He replied nervously. The simple answer was enough to make me laugh

"N-no! I meant like... did you hurt yourself?" I asked again, he was quiet as he looked ahead

"Yeah I guess? Would I be wearing a bandaid just for show" he looked back with a snicker

"Why you--" I puffed my cheeks but really just laughed as well. Somehow...we seem more open tonight.

"Oh! Hang on" I say as I search my pockets/purse and pull out some new bandaids "here! These are like...super cute and colourful! Here, theres even an All Might one" I pointed out as he laughed and thanked me

"Wont you need them"

"Baah, I get them all the time from the hospital"

"I-is that allowed?!"

We laughed once again, our icecream finished and the night growing quieter.

"You know...." he broke the silence "it's a shame we cant see the stars in the city, the lights here are so bright it's hard to see them" he looked to the sky "it's hard to notice the real light sometimes"

I looked up as well, feeling the longing to see the stars as well.

"Hey...follow me"
