Elvira and Amy were up until 4am. They talked, drank a little, ate pop corn, and barely touched the ice cream.

Elvira woke up to Amy throwing up in the bathroom. The sound almost made Elvira gag.

Elvira sat up, a few seconds later, a pounding headache almost knocked her back out. She held a hand to her temple, she then grabbed a water bottle and chugged it. She grabbed one for Amy and set it on counter in the bathroom.

"You good?" Elvira asks, sitting in front of the closet.

"Yeah, guess I'm out of the swing of it," Amy coughs.

Elvira grabs the Ibuprofen and gives Amy two. She swallows it without any drink. Amy drinks half the water bottle, takes a break, then drinks the rest.

"I love doing this, but I think its bad for my liver," Amy smiles.

"Ya think?" Elvira smiles. "I'll grab you some different clothes," Elvira stands.

"I'll go with you," Amy stands and sways a bit on her feet. She puts her hands out to Elvira. She grabs Amy's hands and leads her to the bedroom.

Amy pulls open a drawer and grabs purple and orange shorts. Elvira sees this and grabs a white T-shirt. Amy changes and Elvira looks at her watch.

1:30 pm

Amy cleans the house while Elvira makes a late lunch.

"Ooo~, what smells good?" Amy comes back in from taking the trash out.

"Korean beef and rice," Elvira says, proudly.

"Of course," Amy sits on the counter. "I forgot to ask you how your job is going?"

"Unlike you, my job is fun. Sugar?" Elvira says.

"No. I like taking inventory," Amy puts her head in the air.

"At the grocery store," Elvira mixes the beef with the rice in the bowls.

"I think it's fun. What so great about your job?" Amy retorts.

"I get to do what I want," Elvira sits next to Amy on the counter. She told Amy she works for herself and that she does things for other people. Amy doesn't know that Elvira is the world's #3 hero. Amy doesn't care either.

The two finish eating by gossiping. Amy's phone then starts to go off.

"Hello?" Amy walks into her bedroom. Elvira cleans up the food and takes the leftovers. After a bit, Amy comes back.

"Guess what!" Amy sprints out of her room. "Evan just asked me out tonight!"

"Where at?" Elvira asks.

"Skyline? that really romantic place on the beach," Amy squeals.

"I need to pick out your outfit then," Elvira smiles.

"Please!" Amy hangs on her. "El, you know what he likes in dresses right?"

"I'm picking a dress and your wearing it. Don't think about anything else. You are also. Not. Chickening. Out... Again," Elvira pokes Amy's forehead.

"I won't, I promise," Amy cries.

Elvira chooses a breezy yellow dress.

"Well, I have to go. I gotta get to work," Elvira hugs Amy. Amy hugs back.

"Thank you," Amy smiles.

"You're welcome, good luck tonight," Elvira leaves and locks the door behind her. She then walks on her way home. Elvira pulls out a Bluetooth earbuds and sticks it in her ear. On her way, she sees a woman being attacked by a man with electric blue hair.

Elvira ducks into an alley and changes into her hero outfit quickly. She hurries to the woman's rescue. The man grabbed a piece of metal and used it to defend himself. Elvira had a bit of a tough time, but wrapped it up in a few minutes. The cops got the man and the woman thanked Elvira.

"Thank you Cheshire Cat, thank you so much," The woman put her hands on Elvira's shoulders. Elvira patted the woman's hands. Comforting people was a bit hard for her, but she managed.

The cops helped the woman. Fans screamed at Elvira. From wanting autographs, pictures, and hugs.

For some reason, people always want hugs from Elvira. Nobody knows why. It just became a thing. So, Elvira signed a few things and gave hugs. She doesn't really want to take pictures with people because she doesn't want to risk anything.

A little boy ran up to Elvira. He seemed shy because he kept his head down and he fidgeted with his hands. Elvira crouched down and waved at him. The boy handed Elvira a red rose. Elvira accepted it wholeheartedly. She pulled him into a hug. He started to cry into her shoulder. Everyone around them started awing and tearing up. The boy didn't want to let go at first. His mother had to pry him off. Elvira shook his fathers hand. He kept apologising. Elvira took off after that. She went straight home after changing back.

"Hello," The gardener waves at Elvira.

"Hey, Josh," Elvira waves back. "They're looking good!" She gives him a thumbs up.

"Thanks! Is there anything you would like to change?" Josh asks.

"Um, actually, there is one thing. These bushes over here. I'm not quite feeling it with them. Could you put some flowers here. You choose the flowers, but can we get some?" Elvira points to some bushes that were a bit spiky.

"Yes ma'am, I'll get some flowers and get your opinion," Josh nods.

"Thanks," Elvira smiles.

Josh continues trimming the bushes.

Elvira heads to her room and gets in the shower. She twists chunks of her hair together and lets it dry. She throws on some black leggings and a red T-shirt.

"Echo, turn on the living room tv," Elvira goes to the kitchen and puts the leftovers in the microwave and starts it.

The tv turns on and the news lady starts talking.

"The Cheshire Cat continues to show us what heros can do. Earlier today, a man with some sort of metal quirk tried to wreak havoc in the streets. The Cheshire Cat defeated the villain swiftly. But that's not why we bring your attention to this story. After the event, a child approached the hero-" Elvira, fork in mouth, whips up to see the screen, "-he had given what onlookers say was a red rose. The hero gladly accepted the gift and proceeded to hug the child. The child's parents told us that the boy looked up The Cheshire Cat immensely and that the meeting would never be forgotten by him and his family."

Elvira stared at the boy hugging her and felt happy that she met him. She put the rose in a vase and put some water in it. The vase sits in her windowsill, next to where she reads.
