Prologue

NAKANGITI ako habang hawak hawak ang kamay ni Bryden.

"Mommy, ang ganda ganda po talaga dito," nakangiting sabi ni Bryden. Ngumiti naman ako sa kaniya saka ginulo ang buhok niya.

Agad naman siyang nag-pout. So adorable.

"Mommy look!" agad naman akong napatingin sa direksyon ng tinuro niya. Nangunot ang noo ko nang makita ko ang isang lalaki na buhat buhat ang batang babae.

"It's not her dad." Bryden stated.

"What? Do you know her?" I asked. Bryden was only 4 years old but he is good at observing.

"No, but as far as I can see mukhang napipilitan lang yung little girl. Let's help her, mommy." Bryden sad and tagged my arm.

I sighed.

"Let her go," matigas na sabi ko sa lalaki.

"Who are you?" his baritoned voice makes my heart beat faster. Hindi iyon love at first sight because I am panicking right now. He is a guy kaya mas malakas siya kaysa sa akin.

I examined him from head to foot. I saw a tattoo on his left arm.

"Vince De Liola." I stated.

"If you do something bad sapat na siguro iyan para malaman ng iba ang ginawa mo," I said that made him taken aback.

As he finally let the little girl go, he walked out. Thank goodness.

"T-than chu foy saving me fo," I heard the little girl said.

"Welcome, baby. But, you look lost," sabi ko.

She pouted, "I was looking for grandpa po e,"

cute.

"Apo!" We heard an old man voice. It must be her Grandpa.

"Lolo they save me po from danger," sabi noong maliit na bata pagkalapit ng lolo niya.

"Thank God you're in good hands. You made us worried sweetie," malambing na sabi noong matanda saka hinalikan sa pisngi ang bata.

"Sir, we have to go." Nakangiting sabi ko sa kanila.

"As a token of appreciation because of your heroism, meet me at my company tomorrow." the old man said.

"Naku wala po iyon. You don't have to bother to thank me," nakangiting sabi ko sa kaniya.

"No, I owe you. Meet me at my company tomorrow. 9:00 am. I'll wait for you," the old man said before handed me his calling card and company card.
