Chapter 13: Transformation

Angel's pov

I saw that me, Jane, and the two boys was now in some kind of place. Why the heck these boys we barely knew brought us here? What a bunch of idiots.

"Why did you jackasses kidnapped us?!" Jane shouted furiously at the two boys.

"You'll see." Ryan said smirking.

"Assholes..." I muttered.

"You'll stay here with us until this fight is over." Sam told us.

Just great. We're stuck here.

Kyle's pov

"Dude, do you still like Jade?" My friend Victor asked me while walking to the skate park.

"Honestly, I kind of do." I confessed. I still have feelings for Jade. But she thinks I'll break her heart again.

"She's not going to fall for you." Victor laughed at me. "Good luck getting her back. I heard she's tough."

"That's what I like about her. All the girls I've dated, Rachel and some others. They weren't risk takers. They weren't determined or brave either. That's why I want to get back together with Jade. She's tough." I explained my thoughts with Victor.

"You know if you tell that to her, she will think you're a liar. So, don't bother messing with Jade. You promised her to be just friends, nothing more."

I sighed. "Really, Victor?"

"All I'm saying is there's plenty of fish in the sea. Look on the bright side. There could be many girls just like Jade. I'm telling the truth, Kyle."

"Are you done with your inspirational speech?" I said acting bored.

"Fuck you, Kyle." Victor glared at me. "I'm telling you. If Jade were to choose between me and you as a boyfriend, she would definitely pick me."

I became angry. I lunged at Victor. "You arse!"

"It's the truth, Kyle! Stop running from the truth!"

"Excuse me, boys." I heard a feminine voice.

Me and Victor stopped wrestling each other and quickly stood up to look at the girl. She looked like the same age as me.

"I'm Ashley. I heard about you guys."

"You were the girl that got punched by Jade, right?" I said.

Ashley glared at me for some reason. "Yes I am. Don't speak of that."

Victor had his hands up in the air. "I surrender."

Ashley simply rolled her eyes. She said some words and grabbed me and Victor and went through some kind of portal.

Angel's pov

I saw two boys that looked younger than me and Jane.

"Who are they?" I asked out loud.

"Recruits. You and that girl are recruits too." The girl that came out of a portal.

"Recruits? For what?" Jane said with fear in her voice.

"The demon king's army of course." Ryan replied to Jane's question. "You will be serving under the demon king's command and Jasmine's. For eternity."

Eternity? I gulped. I'm not supposed to be here. I'm hardly the combat type. Why would they pick me?!

"Jasmine!" Sam shouted. "We have a surprise for you!"

A brown skinned girl walked to where we stood. That must be Jasmine I thought.

"Two boys and two girls. Perfect. Who's idea was this?" Jasmine said.

"Ryan's." Sam pointed out.

Jasmine's expression was surprised. Maybe Jasmine didn't like Ryan and she thought Ryan wouldn't do this. Boy, she was wrong.

"Good job..." Jasmine said.

"Thank you." Ryan said proudly.

Me and Jane simply rolled her eyes. I had enough of this "nonsense".

"Stop it with the romance and get to the point already!" I yelled frustrated.

"Proceed to transformation." Jasmine ordered.

"Aye aye Jasmine." Sam saluted.

Jasmine rolled her eyes and walked away. Transformation?! Things aren't going to end well. Ryan grabbed my right arm and Sam did the same to Jane.

"Let go of me!" Jane shrieked.

Sam ignored her of course and threw us into chambers. I hear Ryan and Sam casting a spell and next thing you know, I felt a surge of power come inside of me. And I blacked out.
