In early 1528 The king met Jane Seymour and decided to divorce his wife of 20 years Queen Anna in early 1529. In 1519 the Queen gave birth to a princess, Mary. In 1521 Henry Fitzroy was born. In 1530 the divorce was finalized. Because Anna agreed to the divorce, Mary remained a princess. She was titled Princess Royal. Meanwhile in April 1530 Jane Seymour had a miscarriage.
