Monday.

"I can describe this person, a girl, she has long wavy hair, and she's nice but mostly a mysterious creature." Everybody laughs.

"Tell a secret about her." The class adviser, Mr. Cortez, says as everybody cheers to make the person tell a secret about me.

"A secret..." she smiles sheepishly at me as I nervously laugh, "since I am pretty close with this person, she had a crush on Noah." The class cheered even louder. I looked at Noah to see his cheeks turning pink. "This girl's name is Red, a.k.a, Avery Reyes."

I am not even mad about Raven telling everybody in the class that my crush is Noah, and I am not gonna give a damn if he is okay with it or not. Raven returned the paper with my name on it to the teacher and returned back to her seat which was next to mine. She makes a heart sign with her fingers to me and I rolled my eyes sarcastically.

"Now everybody knows." She said but I didn't say anything. She hits my back gently as the two of us laughed.

"Since we don't have any time left, we will continue our game later in the afternoon in my subject. Goodbye class!" Said our class adviser as he walks away. We all stood up at the same time and said goodbye.

We waited for the bell to ring to have our lunch break.

"Well, well, well." Said a familiar voice. He sat next to Raven and faced me with a grin. I looked at him questioningly, "So you like Noah! Noooaaah!" He said as his voice was getting louder emphasizing his name.

Raven hits him playfully, "Lee." She scolds.

"What?" He continues to tease me.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes, "Whatever. He probably doesn't care. I don't care." They both looked at me, knowing that I do. "Fine, a little bit."

The bell finally rings. Letting everybody in the school know that it's time for lunch. I pull out my wallet from my bag and waited for the two of them. As soon as the three of us make our way out of the classroom, Noah showed up from walking up the stairs. Our eyes met, but he didn't smile or show anything. He just passed by me.

"Ouch." Said Lee, hitting his chest acting like it hurts. I hit his back a little harder when he makes his way down the stairs first.

We make our way to the cafeteria and got ourselves our lunches. I was having my favorite Filipino dish sinuglaw while Raven bought chicken and Lee bought porkchop, with our rice and drinks of course. The three of us sat in an empty table and began eating.

"Do you think your friendship with Noah is ruined?" Said Lee casually. Raven hits him again on the arm. "I mean, come on, don't pretend you don't know that when Noah knows that when somebody likes him, he'll ignore that person. And guess who's next in the list." He eyes me with a quirked eyebrow.

I grinned, "I don't think- I don't know." I shrug as I look for Noah around the cafeteria. The two of them looked for him too and there he was. Walking to the counter to buy whatever he was buying. "How can he just stand there and look so beautiful?" I munch on my grilled pork belly, frowning at him.

Raven pats me by my shoulder, "It's okay. Well, you know what they say, there are plenty of fishes under the sea."

"It's sad to say, we people are eating them." Said Lee.

Both Raven and I looked at him weirdly. "If people are fishes... then that's what we're supposed to do with them right? Eat them?" I said with a sheepish smile. They laughed.

"But Lee is kinda right, Noah might ignore you."

"Let's just enjoy our meal, okay?" I say and continued eating. I didn't say anything but I wasn't sad. I know Noah ignores girls who likes him and it's fine by me if he ignores me, that's his decision and I have no right to change his mind.
