Ketika kata benda Feminim mengikuti nomor yang berakhiran 1 (-1), maka unonya diganti una.
Ejemplo:

81 friends (ochenta y una amigas).

Ratusan dipisahkan dengan tanda titik (.).
Decimal dipisahkan dengan tanda koma (,).
Ejemplo:
Corre los cien metros en nueve coma nueve (9,9).
Noventa y siete coma cuatro grados (97,4 grados).

Jutaan ditulis dalam angka untuk meminimalisir kesalahan atau keraguan dalam angka nol (0).

Kapan cardinal number digunakan?

1. Ketika menghitung.
Ejemplo:
Veinticuatro, veinticinco,...
2. Ketika mengekspresikan masalah aritmatika.
3. Ketika menyatakan waktu (la hora).
4. Ketika menyatakan tanggal (disini kita menggunakan ser, yang saya tandai dengan huruf miring adalah ser).
Ejemplo:
¿Que es hoy? Hoy es el 3 de noviembre. (what day is today? Today is November 3).
Mi cumpleaños es el primero de mayo. (my birthday is not on May first).

Note:
Untuk primero dan tercero hilangkan akhiran -o sebelum kata benda Makulin.
Ejemplo:
El primer piso (the first floor).
El tercer piso (the third floor).

Untuk kata benda Feminim, ubah akhiran -o menjadi -a.
Ejemplo
La primera mujer (the first woman).
La segunda parte (the second part).

Untuk ordinal number 11 dan seterusnya, nyatakan kata bedanya terlebih dahulu kemudian diikuti dengan cardinal number.
Ejemplo:
El piso catorce (the fourteenth floor).
La calle once (eleventh street).
La lección veintitrés (the twenty-third lesson).
El piso ciento tres (the one hundred and third floor).

Note:
1. Setelah ordinal number decimo (tenth), cardinal number digunakan untuk mengindikasikan seri berikutnya, dan ordinal number biasanya mengikuti gander kata bendanya.
Ejemplo:
Este es el congreso 15 de esta organización. (this is the 15th confention of this organization.)
2. Ordinal number dapat difungsikan sebagai kata sifat dan kata benda.
Ejemplo:
El segundo dia, fueron a la playa. (the second day, they went to the beach.)
Es la segunda ves que llamo. (this is the second time Im calling.)
Marcos es el tercero. (marcos is the third (one).)
3. Ketika primero dan tercero digunakan sebagai kata sifat dan mendahului kata benda Maskulin, huruf akhiran -o nya dihilangkan.
Ejemplo:
En primer lugar, tú debes haces tu trabajo. (In the fist place, you should do your work.)
Ellos viven en el tercer piso. (The live on third floor.)
