Safer place
I woke up in the middle of the night .
Was it because of the nightmare or the fact that I couldn't sleep !
Memories of us kept on affecting me in several ways .
Some bought a smile on my face ,
While some tears that I could no longer see your face.
I wish it was me ,
instead of you ,
But then again ,
God also couldnt resist to have someone like you.
Even though you may no longer be a part of this living world physically .
But your soul will be there ,
watching upon me .
I thank God for your existence ,
Because of it I got to know what happiness means .
Just know that not only you mean a lot to me ,
But also to our parents who can't think of anything else but your smile.
We miss you so much that
I don't even know how to put that
into words .
Maybe you dont realise what your existence means to us ,
But please don't underestimate our love for you as you mean a lot to us .
Maybe at times we act like we dont care ,
But deep down we know that it's just a pretence .
Life without you is unimaginable and that's how it is .
Because even though they say you are in a safer place ,
I know that you and me ,
will never be separated .
We love you loads and
you will always be a part of us .
Because in our hearts is where you'll find yourself amongst us.
To that special someone,
We love you ,
always have and always will.
