I found out that hanging out with the Anna is quite a task. She drag me all around the mall stores that sells anything that is made with cloths. Who wouldn't be tired? After walking around the mall she even have me try all the clothes she picked. I don't even know why I let myself be dressed up by that girl. But what shocked me the most is I actually have fun.

"Eh,who are you kidding Hathaway? You had fun earlier." I said to myself. Ever since Anna announce that she's a lesbian I look at her in a new light and respect her but she's still as noisy and bubbly as ever.

I open the door to my house when a frying pan fly in my direction. I ducked to avoid possible concussion in the head taking out my knife in the process,throwing it at my childhood friend who block it with another frying pan.

"Seriously? A frying pan is the best that you've got?" I said as I stand up.

"Heh,didn't you watch Tangled? Rapunzel there wielded a frying pan,which is a deadly weapon." Alexa said with a smirk. She stare at me from head to toe and her face broke into a grin which I return. After another minute I'm tackled to the floor laughing.

"I miss you tadpole." She said.

"I miss you too squirt." I said and we laugh. This is our customary greeting and nickname with each other since childhood. But that's a story I'll tell in another time. Right now I'll need to catch up with my best friend.

"What have you been doing all this time Al?" I asked as I lead her to the living room.

"You know,the usual. Going around the world."

"Do I have to built a barricade for the ladies that have their hearts broken by you?" I said seriously. Don't judge me because it happened before. Last year three girls,wait let me rephrase that,three very furious girls bang on my door looking for a certain Alexa Rhodes claiming they are her girlfriend.

"Oh my,why would you say that?" She said innocently. But don't be fooled by her looks she's anything but innocent.

"Do you want me to refresh your memory my dear best friend?" I said sweetly as I pick up her discarded frying pan. She hold up her hand in surrender and shook her head.

"Its okay I clearly remember what happened,you don't have to bother yourself. Besides there's no raging girls that will hunt me down this time because I'm already in love." She said it with a dreamy expression on her face.

"Holy shit,hell must be frozen by now if the mighty playgirl fall in love." I said dramatically which earned me a slap on the arm. I giggled which make her giggled too and soon enough were laughing our heads off on the couch.

"So who and when will I meet this amazing girl that make you fall in love?" I asked as my breathing goes to normal.

"You see that's why I'm here. I'm transferring to your school so I can be with her." She said blushing. Oh she's in love alright. Wait a...

"Did I heard it right? Your girlfriend goes to my school?"

"Yeah. But there's one problem..." She said and if possible her blush deepen.

"Spit it out." I said getting impatient because Alexa is not one to beat around the bush person.

"Were still in the friendship zone and I need help."

"You're still in the friendship zone? Oh my dear best friend,you're losing you're touch."

"Shut up. I just met her last month in book bazaar."

"If you met a beautiful girl today after another hour she'll be your girlfriend. That's how fast you work."

I said which make her frown. I roll my eyes.

"Its true. Do you remember the girl in the club? I just order our drink and when I came back you already have her as your girlfriend."

"She keeps throwing herself at me. And its a sin not to accept an invitation from a lovely girl."

"That's my point. Anyway when are you going to transfer?" I asked changing the subject.

"Tomorrow." She said and I grin.

"Great. I'll meet the girl who tamed the beast called Alexa."

"At least I'm a sexy beast. Can I stay here?"

"Go ahead." I said and look at the clock. Its 9:15 already.

"I'll hunt tonight wanna come with me?" I asked her.

"You know its an invitation I'm going to decline cause I'm tired to the bones. I'm going to sleep."

"Okay. Goodnight squirt."

"Night tadpole. Be careful tonight,I heard that a I read the newspaper and I think its a Manticore,that thing has a pretty nasty poison in its tail."

She said over her shoulder as she open the door to her room.

"Haha. Don't worry." I said as I grabbed my jacket and keys.
