"don't question it." mark said as he aggressively pushed the keys on his laptop.

jeno raised his eyebrows and still questioned mark even if he knew it would make him mad, "are you typing out your confession to donghyuck?"

mark laughed bitterly, "no. this dumb teacher is making me re-write this essay because she thinks it sounds to similar to a famous piece she read back in college."

jeno snorted, "well did you copy it?"

mark sighed and massaged his temples, "no! i just...got inspiration from it."

"confess to donghyuck." jeno said nonchalantly as he mindlessly scrolled through his twitter feed.

mark furrowed his eyebrows, "what? c-confess. what does that have to do with the fact that i have to re-write this dumb essay?"

jeno looked up from his phone and rolled his eyes, "well you're obviously stressed because you haven't confessed to him. all the pent up feelings are starting to get to you. the mark lee i know would've breezed through this essay without inspiration."

mark scoffed and folded his arms above his chest, "confessing to donghyuck is the least of my worries."

"uh huh sure."

mark shot up from his comfortable position and into a more defensive stance at those words and quickly defended himself, "i-i'm just making sure it's the right time. for all we know what renjun heard in the bathroom could've been just some sick rumor some bored high school kid made."

"are you saying that my boyfriend is a liar?" jeno asked

"n-no! it's just..." mark paused and gathered his thoughts together, "what if donghyuck really isn't gay?"

jeno smirked, "oh he's gay. have you seen the way he looks at you?"

mark chuckled, "in disgust? yeah real romantic."

jeno clicked his tongue, "that's not true. i swear when you're not looking at him he looks at you with the most loving eyes ever. it's cute."

mark shook his head and attempted to continue his essay, "whatever you say."

and when no words or ideas came to mark he groaned loudly in annoyance. dealing with writers block was a horrible enemy that he had hoped to never face. especially in this time of need.

jeno smiled and rose himself from mark's bed, "do you want me to invite renjun and chenle to the park?"

mark slammed his laptop shut and pleaded, "yes please. i'll do anything to keep myself from having to do this essay."

jeno nudged mark playfully, "anything?"

mark smiled, "anything."

jeno intertwined his fingers with mark's, "well then let's go get you to confess to donghyuck."

-

when the two males made it to the park a strong breeze slapped their faces.

jeno made a disgusted face and turned his attention to mark, "i think it's a mistake that we came here."
