"Where are my grandbabies?"
"It would be nice to have children running around..."
"When are you and Jackson adopting?"
The consistent questions echoed the walls of Mark's mind. His mother, who had grown very fond of Jackson since their first meeting three years ago was almost always asking him when she would get her new babies. Not that it mattered much, as they still lived in Korea and his parents in California.
At this point, Mark had grown tired of telling her when they were ready that he just non committedly agreed with her now. The simple 'yeahs' or 'I knows' whenever the topic came up.. Every day..
He had been hoping that eventually, it would stop her from mentioning it in the future. ,,It didn't work.
He hadn't brought up his Mother's obsession with Jackson, yet, Mainly, Mark wanted to avoid making his husband uncomfortable or scared.
It was still crazy that they had been together for more than three years. Even more shocking when Mark remembered how upset he was when he saw Jackson, when he thought he needed a wife. But thinking back to the bright eyed blonde boy so happy to see Mark, brought a smile to his face. Only his husband would be shameless enough to fly in just a white undershirt.
Jackson was the sun to his moon. He was the light in the dark that lit his world when he thought there was nothing good anymore. When nothing seemed possible, Jackson was there with his big smile, encouraging him. Mark never felt like he told him how much he meant to him enough.
Mark and Jackson were known as the power couple, Markson of Beast Entertainment. One, still a very sought after producer and the other was not only an assistant choreographer, but a coach for young trainee that needed to learn rapping skills.
The only thing that Mark could truly say he missed about his job was Jihoon. His assistant that kept him on track had been offered a job as a producer and the hours were better for him after he had 'drunk-ordered' his own husband. The flexibility of his job allowed them the time they needed to really become acquainted though.
Plus, Jihoon had made sure to train his replacement, Hwang Hyunjin, very well. Hyunjin was young. But he listened well, until he saw Park Jinyoung. Whenever the vocalist was around, Hyunjin was 110% focused on the other male. It was a cute crush, but Mark found it did get on his nerves every once in a while.
With everything at work on the better side and with both of them busy, Mark just didn't want to bring the idea of adopting a child if they weren't on the same page. He wanted them to have a similar mindset every step of the way. And what if he wasn't ready?
...Or maybe he was.

"Oh, I don't know about that Mama Tuan.." Jackson's voice rang out with a light laugh from the kitchen. Mark tossed his keys in the bowl near their door before finding the newly dyed ravenette leaning on their countertop. A few months ago, Jackson had asked Mark the preposterous question of if he'd still love him if he stopped bleaching his hair.
Making his way behind his lover, Mark's arms wrapped around the younder's waist, a kiss landing just behind Jackson's ear. The other turned in Mark's arms, a breathtaking smile as he looked at Mark. The brunette could feel his heart skip a beat as Jackson brought their lips together briefly.
"Markipooh is home now, if you want to speak with him?" Jackson said into the receiver, handing the phone ho Mark not a second later, well before Mark could even attempt to say no.
With a scowl on his face and a glare directed at his husband, Mark greeted his mother. "Hey Mom."
"Hey Mom," She mimicked him, sounding annoyed. "Babies, Yi En. I want them." He rolled his eyes, muttering an 'I know.' She let out a sigh, "You and Jackson have been together for so long now. It's time for them."
"Yes Mom, I know. We'll get there, But right now, dinner with my husband is on my mind. We'll call you later," He said softly, pulling Jackson's hips closer to him. "Love you mom," He said before hanging up the phone.
He shook his head at his playful looking husband, looking inhumanly cute, "You sneaky littl-" Mark's had started before his words were stolen from his lips. Jackson's soft lips hungrily nipping at Mark's. The elder kissed down to Jackson's neck, sucking at the soft skin eliciting soft gasps from the younger.
"What about din-ner?" Jackson asked, a finger pointing to the the set table.
Mark looked at the appetizing food before kissing Jackson once again. "But you're so much tastier than any food.." Mark said planting a few more kisses on the exposed skin, "And much more.. Filling." He smirked as he winked at the younger.
"But your Mom, babe.." Jackson gasped as Mark sucked on the sensitive part of his neck. Mark pulled away, his brow raising in confusion.
"I say that I want to eat you and you're thinking about your mother in law?" Resting his hands on Jackson's hips, Mark found himself staring at the other for an explanation that never came. "Okay, what about her? What did she say to you?" He questioned, slipping his fingers under the younger's loose tank top.
"You know what she said, Babe. It's the same thing she's been asking you for months." Jackson said with a determined look on his face. Mark felt a chill run down his spine as he paused his movements.
"I.. didn't know you knew." Mark said, regretfully. "I didn't know how you'd fe-"
"I want them, Mark.." Jackson's words were barely above a whisper.
The brunette paused, "You what?" he asked, hardly believing his ears, "Really?"
"I was the one that told your mom a few months back that I was ready, She's been trying to nudge you to bringing it up.." The younger stated, biting his lip.
"Are you sure? It would mean a lot of changes, it's a whole different life." Mark asked once more for confirmation. The younger nodded, firmly. "Okay."
Jackson instantly grinned latching onto the older, "Really?" Mark nodded, smiling at the younger. "Then come put a baby in me, Mark." The ravenette smirked, pulling mark to their room.
"Uh.. that's not exactly how it works.." Mark said following after..
Oh well.
