Fixed in place
By beams of terror and wonder
Forever poised
I wait for
Right action to unveil itself

This clarity will
Be as a river
Currents subtle, then strong
As I trip along the path
Floating, rushing

Stark paralysis binds
As anticipation builds
Longing for a sudden awe
A rejoicing, joyous
A discovery of understanding

Hope flies even as air
Thins in the chest
thickens on the tounge
