•Harry's POV•
April

The sun awakes me the next morning shining through our tent.

I groan at being awakened, I try to turn around but as soon as I do I feel pain run up my spine. The events from last night flood my mind.

"Louis," I say shaking him slightly

"Lou, wake up," I say shaking him some more

"Lou!" I say smacking him with my pillow

"Hmm?" He responds still not opening his eyes

"We're naked," I say pulling the blanket over us

"So? I don't mind," Louis says cuddling me

"So the boys could walk in here at any moment," I say through a giggle

"And? Let them see just how good of friends we are," Louis says placing a kiss on my hair

"Friends?" I say feeling worried that last night meant nothing to him

"I'm only joking babe," Louis says opening his eyes to reassure me

I smile at him and we lay there peacefully before I decide that Niall and Liam will probably walk in on us naked and we decided to get dressed.

We exit the tent only to see Niall and Liam already awake and cooking eggs.

"Hey Harry, sorry about last night. I should've known when to stop," Liam says as soon as he sees us

"It's fine Liam, I'm not mad," I say already having completely forgotten about that

"Yeah I cheered him up in my special way," Louis says looking at me with a smile

I playfully hit him and see the boys giving us a weird look

"By tickling him of course," Louis says as if it was obvious

They roll their eyes and continue cooking breakfast. We all eat and talk, Niall wonders off and comes running back a minute later

"Guys there's a lake! Let's go swimming!" Niall says already removing his shirt and racing back in the direction he came from

We follow after him and see that there in fact is a lake.

"I don't know, seems a bit dangerous," Liam says inspecting the lake

"Dangerous my ass!" Niall says canon balling in

Water splashes us and Liam jumps in after Niall to get back at him.

"You gonna go in?" Louis asks removing his shirt in preparation to jump in

"I wish but you kinda left hickeys all over my chest," I say with a smile

"Aww my bad," Louis says with a mock pout

He gives me a kiss when the boys aren't looking then jumps in splashing me some more.

"Gee guys thanks for getting me all wet," I say sitting down on the floor to watch them

"I could've done that without the lake," Louis says boldly

A blush spreads across my face and Niall and Liam look at him with shocked expressions

"Woah guys did something happen last night?" Liam asks playfully with a side of seriousness in his voice

"Actuall-" I begin before I'm interrupted by a voice

"Louis!!" A feminine voice yells behind me

I turn around and see a brunette girl walking over to us

"Fuck," I hear Louis says as the girl approaches

"Louis you didn't say that this camping trip was gonna be overnight!" She yells down at him

"I think that's kinda implied," Liam says getting out of the lake

He greets the girl with a hug despite being soaked. I get up and head over to greet them

"Is this your girlfriend?" I ask Liam smiling at her

"Mine? Oh no, this is Eleanor Louis' girlfriend," Liam says completely oblivious to Louis rushing out of the water to try to stop him

"Louis' girlfriend?" I say the smile from my face dropping.

Louis arrives next to us realizing it's too late. He looks at me worriedly before he's pulled into a kiss by Eleanor.

My heart feels as if though it shatters into a million pieces. I have to look away the pain in my heart overwhelming me

"I missed you babe," Eleanor says still not letting go of him

"This is Harry, he's a junior," Liam says introducing me while putting an arm over my shoulder

"Hey I'm Eleanor," She says shaking my hand. I try my best to put on a smile before I excuse myself having to walk away feeling betrayed.

I hear Niall greet her loudly as I walk back to where we're camping. I begin packing my things not feeling mad at Louis but instead indifference. Numb towards him pushing away all feeling for him

I begin leaving and walking back to my house when Louis comes running up to me.

"Harry, where are you going?" Louis asks stopping me

"Home," I tell him vaguely

"Harry I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you, Eleanor's just a minor inconvenience. Don't worry about her," Louis says trying to get me to change my mind

"You having a girlfriend is a minor inconvenience?! Is us having sex last night a small speed bump on your way to a happy life with her!?" I ask him already feeling torn

"Harry it's not like that! I want you, I like you, it's just- complicated," Louis says grabbing me by the shoulders as I try to walk away again

"I'm not mad Louis, it's okay last night meant nothing to you, I'm okay with that," I tell him bitterly

"That's not true!" Louis tell me desperately

"Everything's temporary, this was merely one of those things," I say gesturing at him and me

"Harry," he begs

"Last night was a mistake, I know that now , that's how you feel isn't it?" I tell him laughing without humor

"No it's not," Louis tells me

"I need you tell me that's what it was, please so I don't have to feel the agony of losing something that never was," I tell him tears beginning to form in my eyes

"Harry," Louis says quietly

"Please," I beg him my eyes not leaving his for a second

"Harry, I don't wanna lose you," Louis responds sadly

"You already have," I ask him feeling prepared to break at any second

He sees the pain in my eyes and nods his eyes tearing up as well

"Last night, was a mistake, we were both just delirious and sleep deprived," Louis says finally pulling away completely.

"I agree, let's pretend it never happened," I tell him my voice clear despite the tears rolling down my eyes

"Goodbye, Lou," I tell him closing off the part of him I yearned to know

"Bye Haz," Louis says walking away teary eyed

I sigh as I become numb towards Louis again and I head off too my house

Ignoring that anything had happened between me and the blue eyed boy

Decided to update :) And there's another one coming later tdy I just need to revise it then it'll be up. Btw I actually already have about 25 chapters for this story written and I completely forgot to post the next couple of ones. The rest are still in revision. So thanks to @fookinloosahh for reminding me :)
