Friends?

~Chapter One~

Mikaela awoke to the painfully familiar sound of shrill ringing erupting throughout his room.
It was 6:00 AM.
He groggily rubbed his eyes and stepped out of his cozy bed with a yawn, gently tossing his precious stuffed hamster to the side.
Mika crossed to the opposite side of his room, and banged his fist against the wall.
"Yuu-Chan, wake up - you promised we can go early!" earning a muffled groan from the other side of the wall in response. Mika rolled his eyes with a smile and went on to get ready for his second year of senior high school.

After combing his hair, washing his face, and shyly adding the tiniest bit of eyeliner to make his eyes 'pop', Mika checked his bag for the hundredth time - shaking off nervous jitters as he went.
He checked himself in the mirror of his tidy room, smoothing down his uniform and fixing his collar.
It was 6:44.

Yuu jerked awake, glancing up at a pair of wide, icy blue eyes glaring down at him. He mumbled something incoherent and rolled over, annoyed, drifting back to sleep before being rudely shaken awake yet again.
"Yuu-Chan!!" an angry voice boomed.
"Mhh- Mika- *yawn* stop pestering me."
Yuu was flipped over forcefully, meeting eyes with a glowering Mika who looked pretty nonetheless, his pale face glowing, unlike the messy, black-haired bedhead beneath him.
"..Mika what are you all dolled up for? it's not even light yet. Let me sleep in. It's Sunday don't be a pain." Yuu grumbled, rubbing sleep from his eyes.
"It's Monday dumbass. You promised me you'll come early!"
"Early to what!"
"WE HAVE SCHOOL IDIOT!"
At that Yuu bolted upright. "Hohh?"
Mika glared, whipping the curtains open and ripping Yuu's blankets off of him. "You have five minutes. We leave five to."
Yuu checked the crooked clock mounted on the wall. "Six minutes actually-"
"Hurry up." at that, Mika threw a pillow at Yuu, and strutted out of the room.

As promised, a few minutes later Yuu sauntered into the living room where Mika was not-so-patiently waiting for the raven-haired boy.
His hair was sticking up from every possible direction as he desperately tried to smooth it down.
Mika ushered Yuu into the hallway where he then began to straighten his collar and flatten the spikes of disobedient hair - muttering things such as 'you're so sloppy' or 'next time I'll hit you' - like an overprotective mother.
"Ouch. I'd never hit you." Yuu teased.
"Yeah, only cause I'm not nearly as difficult as you."
"You're like a mother."
"You're like a rowdy child." Mika continued fixing Yuu's uniform.
"Rowdy?"
"Yeah. Rowdy."
"Interesting wording.." Yuu said with a smirk.
"Shut up.." Mika blushed.
"Let's get rowdyyyy.." Yuu started grinding in the air, winking.
"Ew, please stop. Let's go before I gag." Mika rolled his eyes with a grin.
"You know you love it." Yuu joked, getting pushed through the door by the laughing blonde boy.
