Your presence leaves me
broken, your absence
leaves me unsettled.
It's like I'm walking on eggshells
when you're here, and smashing
everything that I come across
when you're not. You're never
here. So I smash
everything around me, everything
your touch has infected. I
smash and smash and smash until my hands
are bloody and I'm numb.
Blood, so much
blood. Dripping onto the
floor, onto my clothes and
into my soul.
You're not there to
stop the bleeding.
