sun shone and sunk deep into the sky continuously that Jennie lost count of the days she spent alone in that torturous place. without seeing the days change into night she would have believed she was stuck in that day due to this silence that began after it. she thought maybe they have forgotten about her caged in one of the cells of this very notorious place, and if she continued to not make a sound she might die on her own starving or by a stroke, but she would choose that than to be their victim.

but somewhat like a bad luck today was different. she could hear steps coming back and forth by her door. she curled into a ball in a corner facing the door, glaring at the door in hope it will never open but eventually it did and she stood up in defense.

bringing her fists up but they had guns, she had a life to lose while they will go on with their own.. "you really want to do this now?" one of them asked.

she shook her head and dropped her arms to her side "why are you here?"

he nodded to the other two and they walked and seized her hands behind her back, "why? you thought we forgot about you?" he smirked.

she looked down as they dragged her out. this time they didn't care to cover her eyes, they didn't care much as well if she walked or not they were taller and her feet were floating anyway.

"tell him she is here," he told a guard who seemed to be guarding a door. the one went in and came back in a second before allowing them to take her in and like a puppet they threw her into the room.

she winced in pain on her knees and glared at them "have you all learned no curtesy?" before she looked ahead and her face dropped.

there stood her kidnapper as sharp as a knife that tears a heart into two, and the boss whose back was to her.. "want to teach them some?" he muttered sarcastically.

she slowly stood up trembling, it cant be the end yet! but she could feel it in the air.

"w-what now?" she asked looking at them, "are you gonna kill me now?"

the boss snorted and the guy looked down shaking his head in disbelief. as if she made a sinister joke.

"doc! do you remember what you saw that night?" he turned around and so mercilessly he reminded her of what she has been trying to forget for days. she squeezes her eyes shut in anger "yes!"

"i was just making sure if you wanted to see it again, but good you made my job easier," and walked around the office desk to her. unlike the corpse room and the cell she was staying at.. this room looked quite nice like a classic office room of a wealthy man.

"you will go through that door now," he pointed to their side and she looked to find a wooden door leading to a room attached to the office, weirdly enough the boss smiled at her "and when you do you will then realize what your future will be as i presume you to be smart doc," and he winked at last "so don't let me down."

she was still trying to comprehend when the guy came and took her by arm in a bone crashing grip towards the room. she tried to loosen it but it was no use and soon she was pushed into it to another fall of her knees and terror in her heart..

in the room which looked like a secret library was a bed set by a great window of a very wonderful view. she couldn't imagine how different it was from hers, while she faced rubbles of destroyed walls and graveyards, this view was of a majestic sunrise and a dense forest.. just how far is she from home? but that wasn't the right question to ask, "is that-"

"yes!" the boss interrupted her as he came behind her, "your lost patient and.. my son."

she could hear his heartbeat through the monitor. each beat was reminding her of a free long life, her eyes teared up. she thought he was dead and his death caused more damage than heal. although she wished people like them would vanish from the face of earth but he was an exception because his life meant hope to her.
