"What do you mean, there's three rules?" I ask confused as she holds my hand tightly.
"Yes, Elise, three rules. Don't break them no matter how tempting." I nod, still very confused.
"One, don't expect anything from him, he's very unpredictable. Two...
"Ok, so as Madame says, down to business. You look like a nice girl," How cute.
"I think we'll get along just fine, as long as your reasonable with us. You're new, so new rules. For example, Madame puts us to bed at 8:30, you can do 9:30. Madame doesn't let us have friends over, you can allow one or two. Madame doesn't let us eat chips, ice cream, or anything that she considers unhealthy, you can make exceptions. Simple right?" I look at him a bit confused.
"How old are you both." This time the girls speaks.
"I'm Colette, 14, and the idiot to my left called Colin, he's 11. You?" He glares at her, but says nothing. I smile at their silliness, must be nice having siblings.
"I'm 22," She nods, "Tell us more."
"I attend Colombia Business school, I complete my MBA(Masters of Business Administration) course in 3 months. I live with my mother, she's a dance teacher at the NYC Ballet, so if you like that, we can go anytime," her eyes go wide and she nods quickly. "I can teach you ballet, I've danced all my life."
She gives me light hug, "That would be absolutely fantastic!!" she said enthusiastically.
"Ok ok, enough. Can we show her to her room?" I furrow my eyebrows at Colin.
"My room?" I ask as they both grab on to my hairs taking me through a hallway.
"Yes, your room, you have to stay the night Monday to Thursday. It's on the contract. Don't change your mind, you know you love us." she winks at me. We enter the room and it takes my breath away.

"Yes, I will sign the contract, but my mother is sick, I mean she's getting better, but what if i need to be with her?" She nods in understanding.
"If anything , she can come here too sometimes, mom will understand. Besides there's three spare rooms, well two, one is my brother's." She rolls her eyes.
"Brother? The one that's coming today?" She nods her head.
"Yea, Sergio. He stays the night here sometimes, when he's working with father. Father wants him to become the CEO of the company in September. Father has been very absent lately, and sometimes on weekends too, but that will all end when Sergio takes over." She said. S
Sergio . . . Sergio . . .Sergio, it rings, I know i've heard that name somewhere.
"Oh yea, and we don't go to Sergio's room, neither should you. He likes his privacy, and don't tell anyone, but once we caught one of the maids sneaking into his room in the middle of the night, we didn't tell. But you get the point, don't go in there." I nod and Colette turns to me and giving me a serious look.
"Have you read the contract, how much are they paying you?" I grab the folder from my night table and grab the document, five pages, omg. They both get on either side of me, reading along with me. A couple things stick out.
Accompany them on any outing. . .
Establish honest friendship, and provide academic advice and aid. . .
Guide the children along the same academic path you have taken. . .Oh i got it, they want them to be business people like me, so they can work for the company. Makes sense.
Pay is 1300 dollars weekly. Holy crap, that's amazing pay!!
Contract is over in 3 months. . . That works.
I take a pen from the night table and sign the paper, putting it back in the folder. "All set!" I smile. They both look excited and give me tight hugs.
"This is going to be so much fun!! I was afraid that we were going to get another Madame and we were planning and making your life miserable, but never mind that, this is great!" Colette squeals.
We continue talking about things they liked and dislike, school and stuff like that until we are interrupted by the sound of footsteps in the living room. "Where are my two favorite people in the whole wide world?" The voice booms.
They look at each other and mouth the words 'Sergio', before running out of the room. The voice sounded familiar.
I followed behind them until I saw them jumping around a guy with his back to me. I couldn't really identify him yet, but then he turns around. My heart sinks, just a little bit.
"Elsa?"
The nerve. . .
Hello guys, if you've gotten this far, thanks. Be patient with me, please. But who else, could the brother be? ; )
