I scribbled notes hastly on a piece of paper on my bed. never had i made a pencil move so fast. beads of sweat rolled down the sides of my face and i squinted my eyes to see what exactly i was writing to myself.
it's me, Isabelle. i don't know why i'm writing this, or who it's for. my parents are out of town and i've been at home over the weekend. i'm probably writing this to myself, although, i don't feel alone. i've told my parents already how i feel a presence by me all the time, and despite my age of 17, they told me it was nothing. but i knew something was wrong. the message in this note is escalating very quickly. someone's here, i can tell. i've had dreams of.........things, things that are hard to explain. i've kept these dreams a secret from anyone, for fear they might think i had gone mad. First off, i've seen someone. someone tall and well dressed. he glared at me in my dreams. his face was blank, pure white. no expressions. next to him sat someone. she was crying. and she looked like me. she had a white hoodie on and jeans that were ripped and dirty. her dark hair hung unfront of her eyes like dreadlocks. i walked closer to the both of them and the girl in the hood looked up. she screamed, and i awoke. i've also seen something else. a tower or radio tower. it glowed a bright red at the top and stood up on a high mountain just above the timberline. i sensed that it was a place of comfort, or safety. a place to hide from the no face man and the screaming girl. i could feel the no face man always watching me, and the girl standing behind him, just waiting to kill me. can someone help me? please? where is this man?
i looked up from my note to read over it. i didn't know what i would do with it, except to hang it up on my wall with the rest of my drawings and notes to myself. i sat in silence in my room for a while as i flopped onto my bed and stared at the ceiling.
"Where are you?" i asked myself, and possibly the no faced man. suddenly i saw a streak of lightning and a clap of thunder followed after it. rain began to come down slowly, turning from a drizzle to a heavy downfall. i listened to it for a while, until the thunder and lightning became suspiciously too close and loud. i looked over to a side of my wall where i realized i had my window open. "I guess i better go close that." i stood up lazily and went to go shut it when i saw something outside. i looked closer and it wasn't something, but someone. a man with no face. "He's here," was all i could utter. hide. shut the doors and windows. don't let him in....... i thought causiously to myself.
i slowly crept out of my room and through the hall, shutting all the doors and windows. i came down the stairs and peered at the front door, which was open. he was here. i closed the door shut slowly and began breathing heavy. i traveled through the dinning room and across the kitchen and no sign of him yet. thunder continued to roar as i made my way through the quiet house. the last room was the living room. i came in to see the lamp toppled over and the TV screen shattered. the lamp flickered as i went through the room. i closed the last window and sighed. i'm still alive.
i turned around from the window and i saw him. he was in the dark corner. each time the light flickered he came closer, and closer, and closer. raw black tenticles emerged from his body, worming their way through the room. i stood in the corner, as i was now face to face with him. the well dressed man. the tall and skinny man. the no face man. the Slenderman. his face almost touched mine and his tenticles began to encasae me when i ducked down and made a break for the door. i ran behind him as fast as i could, yanking the door open and bolting up the stairs. i sprinted to my room and swung open the door. i slammed it shut and slid down on it. i took a deep breath and turned my head. he was there. standing in the corner again. his slim and slender body made him stand out and his blank face told it all that he wanted to kill me. he stood there, and i didn't dare try to move an inch. but as if in a flash, his whole being dissapeared. every bit of him. the corner now stood bare and i took the chance to slowly rise up and walk further into the room. i felt something breach into my mind, almost alarming me. turn around........ i thought. i turned. a peircing scream filled the air as i backed up, seeing him behind me, just over my shoulder. black tenticles wrapped around me and i tried to break free. i slammed my eyes shut as i felt my body still enwrapped with tenticles meet with the glass of my window as i fell down to the soft lawn. "stay away from me!" i screamed, although no one could hear me and the tenticles would not let go. i felt myself being carried off into nothingness before fear and darkness encased me.
