Virgil's POV
People have always been unique in their own little way, but I always knew that I was different. For several reasons, really. The first was quite common in modern day stories, but the second and third? Not so much. The thing is, I'm homosexual, or, gay, as most people would put it.I have absolutely no romantic feelings to individuals of the opposite sex. I'm also very depressed and get anxiety attacks quite often when I'm forced to talk to a stanger. For these reasons, I have bags under my eyes. I also have only one friend, but he's the complete opposite of me. His name is Patton, and he's very cheerful and bright.
Another thing that you should know about me is that I don't have a father. I don't mean that he left or died, I mean that I have two mothers. No, they aren't lesbians they're just best friends and because of my upbringing, and them both caring for me, I see them both as my mothers, and they're fine with that. You might be thinking Then how do you not have a father? I was adopted. I'm happy about that, although my orphanage was kind and caring towards the orphans. I'm now in a better home, with wealthy parents, and an accepting family.

I hate when I have to go to town for Mom. Sure I don't have to do it often, but when I do, it means talking to people. I hate that.
I walk through town and see that the market is open. Since it's closest to my house, and I'm not yet old enough to drive, I decide to shop there. I open my phone and look at the list of things I wanted, and things my parents wanted.
Nail polish black and Purple
Dark purple hoodie
Purple sweatpants
Headphones
Makeup

Apples
Steak
Avacados
Pineapple
Coffee
As I walk through the market, I see someone in a white suit with a red sash drop something. At first I thought nothing of it and thought to leave it there, but my body moves my itself and bends down to pick it up. it's a gay pride pin, "E-excuse me? Y-you dropped s-something," I say nervously, on the verge-Get it? VIRGE. I know im not funny, but i try...kinda.-of another attack.
He turns around and I see the most beautiful thing. But I stop myself because I see who it is. It's the prince. I hand the pin over to him,"I-I'm sorry y-your majesty,"
"Thanks. There's no need to apologize, and please don't call me that, I hate it. Hey, you seem nice, what's your name?" Prince Roman asks with ecstasy.
I take a few deep breaths before answering "M-my name i-is V-Virgil."
"I love that name! How would you like to hang out sometime? I would invite you to the castle, but 'commoners' aren't aloud, so how about I go to your place? That is, if you want," he finger quotes the word commoner.
I feel a blush rush to my cheeks as I speak, "S-sure. M-my moms w-won't mind."
Before I know it, we have exchanged social medias, and said our goodbyes.
I continue shopping, not being able to believe what just happened.
I head home with two bags of stuff. I open the door and walk to the kitchen, knowing mom will be cooking.
"I made a friend today at the market... I think."
She calls mom to the living room, and I tell them all about my encounter with the prince.
