I walk along the sides of the maze, and in a nice, green area, I lay down.

This Was the best dream ever.

I stare at the blue summer sky, and wished this could last forever.

It couldn't.

"What The-" I hear coming from the distance, along with several other voices trailing behind.

"Hey! Who are-" Someone starts, but I cut them off.

"Shut up you slinthead and let me enjoy the view."

Whoever was speaking to me obviously was taken aback, because they didn't speak for the next few seconds.

"Listen Up. I need to kn-" I cut the voice off, my eyes still focused on the sky.

"Please, just don't. I really want to enjoy this dream. Its-" This time, it's them who cuts me off. With laughter.

"You think this is some shucking dream? Hey what's this?!" A hand comes down and reaches for my necklace, and when he lays a finger, I'm back in my room, holding the book.

I instantly jump back in complete shock, leaving a quick shriek.

"Calm Down!" I'm back at the glade.

"This isn't real. This can't be real." I mumble to myself, turning to face the unknown speaker.

Mihno.

"Yeah. It is." Without hesitation. I run.

Scratch that. I use every single bit of strength in my bones to take me far from where I am.

For a second, I feel like Thomas.

Is Thomas even here? Omg, what if he is. FANGIRL ATTACK!!!!

I see a huge bunch of trees and shade, leading to complete darkness.

So I go there.

Rushing over to one of the trees, I quickly look back, to see if Mihno is still trailing me.

And he's gone.

I smile in satisfactory, as I climb up a tree, and lay on a high branch, away from sight.

I stop for a second, with everything.

What if this isn't a dream? I ask myself.

Of course it is!

But what if the necklace transported you here? What if you die here?

I gulp.

I wont. Because this is a dream.

No It Isn-

This Is A Dream. This is a dream. This is a dream. This is a dream.

I touch my cheeks, and realize I've been crying.

"Hey! Anyone there!" I here an accented voice, and remind myself again.

This. Is. A. Dream.

I stay quite, that is, until I'm facing a blonde guy my age.

Newt.

"Hey greenie, what are you doing up in this bloody tree?"

My eyes open wide.

"This Isn't A Dream."
