"there is nothing wrong with having a tree as a friend"

"hi hyung!" felix smiles his bright smile, as he sees changbin approaching their tree.

changbin smiles and sits down next to felix.

"long time no see." changbin nudges felix's side and pulls the food and drinks out his backpack.

"we seen each other the day before yesterday. like how we always do!" the younger giggles and grabs the sandwich changbin always makes for him.

"yeah. it gets pretty lonely on the days we don't see each other though."

"that's because you said you had plans. i'm always free, we can hang out when ever." felix playfully rolled his eyes and changbin stayed quiet.

"you're the one who wanted to not exchange phone numbers, because you think it's cooler if we have a thing." changbin fired back.

"don't raise your voice. i like waking up and getting excited to see you everyday. if we don't exchange phone numbers then there will never be a reason why we can't meet up. because then you'll have to come here to tell me that you have other plans. so i would see you all the time still. it's a win win." felix smirked.

"but when i want to see you at night, we can't facetime." changbin puffed out his bottom lip and the younger laughed.

"awe changbinnie hyung, don't worry i'll see you everyday now. i mean if you want to meet up everyday." felix felt his ears heat up and he looked at the ground.

"of course lix. i love coming into the forest and sitting under the tree with you. it's my favorite part of everyday." changbin smiled and brought felix into a hug, which felix gladly returned.

"i'm pretty sure you thought i was a weirdo when we first meet." felix took a bite of his sandwich.

"NO! not at all. i thought it was cute that you called this tree your friend." changbin giggled.

"it is! he, OR she, listens to what i have to say every day. and it never judges me. it always has my back. literally. there is nothing wrong with having a tree as a friend." felix leaned back on the tree and smiled looking up at the leaves.

"it's also very pretty." he added when changbin didn't say anything.

"yeah, yeah it is."

"hehe. well, it's late. i'll see you tomorrow! same time!" felix got up and waved about to walk away.

"wait, felix!" changbin tried to call him back but felix just shock his head and waved bye again.

"aish, this boy." changbin muttered to himself on his way home.
